The Modern Quilt movement has given me pause lately. Using solid fabrics in my work again was really refreshing. When I began quilt making (back in the dark ages), solids were a staple and I am happy to see them being used again. This piece has the perfect areas for wonderful quilting, embroidery or applique. Living in a coastal area, the colors of beach glass, ocean waves and summer skies are everywhere.
Created by Charlotte Angotti • Quilt Maker’s Studio 54”x 54”
Fabric: Island Paradise-Cayuga-Surf by Michele Scott of the Pieceful Quilter, Stonehenge-Caribbean by Linda Ludovico, Ainsley-Lime Twist by Deborah Edwards and Colorworks Premium Solid all for Northcott.
