"This quilt has been a true journey for me.  I started the quilt at home in Michigan and finished it at Assateague Island, Maryland. When I first saw this design I loved it. Country Morning reminded me of a drive in the country, fruit trees, birds and the deep rich colors of the countryside. I decided to do needleturn applique of cherries and blackbirds." - Cathy
