I learned to sew as a child and got the quilting bug in about 1991. I like to try something new with every quilt I make. I have a lot of trouble making something *just like the pattern says*.... I'm always adding my own twist! I enjoy piecing but I *love* the quilting part and I love to try fun threads.

My "real" job is with a tech company (I'm a software developer)... and that's what I use to support my fabric habit. I'm a UFO queen and the size of my stash is alternately a source of embarassment and pride (LOL).

I'm married with three children and way too many pets to mention. I'm a cat person (the dog is my husband's).
