"One day, I hurriedly tried to copy a quilt block shown on television. When I looked at the drawing later, the block seemed too busy but it did suggest two simpler blocks if divided. That's how Azteca was born. Later, I saw the original block again and was surprised to see that my drawing hadn't even been close!"
