Correction: The cutting dimensions for the M patches in Cornflower Fields, page 53 in the March/April '10 issue (No. 132) are incorrect. In the original pattern, K's are cut as rectangles and then shown as triangles. A step was left out. We have rewritten instructions for Step 2. Download the pdf. We regret the errors.

We re-sized the patches for a fun crib-size quilt. A kit and a free pattern are available for Hoo's in the Forest?

Hi LaVonne--you are correct that we forgot to tell you how to turn those rectangles into triangles for K. We've got that solved but uncovered another problem with the pieced border. We'll post a correction on Tuesday 2/23. In the meantime, please do not cut K's, L's or M's for this pattern. We are truly sorry for the problems.

Misprint or incorrect cutting directions Cornflower quilt

Help, I want to make the Corn Flower Quilt. Yellow print cutting directions: 4 rectangles (K) 12 1/2 by24 1/2, nothing in directions as to where to use rectangle. Border units show a triangle of yellow print (K) as part of the border that does not appear to be 12 1/2 by 24 1/2.Am I reading directions wrong or is there a misprint. Thanks.

Very Romantic!

I'm a big fan of buttercup yellow and medium blues... reminds me of the room we had on our honeymoon at a B&B near Dresden, OH some 13 years ago! ;) I've been wanting to make a quilt from those colors - and this is a great pattern - I love how it appears to be turned and "re" turned on point - perfect for a bed! ;) Thanks for featuring Julie's pattern in your magazine - can't wait until my issue arrives in my mailbox!
