Quiltmaker’s Parade of Homes continues today
with another quilt block giveaway.
Please visit our Parade of Homes page for all the fun and freebies!
Today’s block was made by Gail Pan, who is known for adorable embroidery designs. She did a great job of putting her signature style onto this block.
This quilt is based on a block by Lori Holt called Home Sweet Home for Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 8.
We asked 12 designers, including Gail Pan, to make this block in their own style. They sent them back to us and now we’re sharing them with you. All 12 will be given to lucky readers during August so please visit Quilty Pleasures often. Scroll down a bit more for today’s giveaway of Gail’s block, which is made in her own fabrics: Baskets in Bloom for Red Rooster Fabrics.
If you enjoy hand embroidery, have a look at Gail’s new book, Simply Christmas 2014. Inside are eight Christmas quilt projects with embroidery—great for gift giving. Simply Christmas 2014 is available from Kelly Ann’s Quilting or The Fat Quarters Quilt Shop.
Visit Gail’s blog, too!
Now to the giveaway: For your chance to win Gail’s block and a copy of our Sept/Oct issue, please leave a comment here by midnight Wednesday, August 6. We’ll choose a random winner and announce it here. The winner is Rhonda Davis, #40.
