Quiltmaker’s Parade of Homes continues!
Today’s Home Sweet Home block is by Debbie Caffrey. You may know her from the hundreds (thousands?) of mystery quilts she has designed. You’ll want to visit Debbie’s Creative Moments to see more of her work. She’s an author and teacher as well.
I love the cats Debbie put in the windows. And see how the front yard is full of flowers? There’s a house in Breckenridge, Colorado with a similar front yard bursting with blooms. I love walking past that house.
Debbie came on Quiltmaker’s Block Party @ Sea earlier this summer, and was excited to tell us about her new class with Craftsy called Cut To It: Strategies for Smarter Quilting. I sat in on one of Debbie’s lectures and even though I’ve been quilting for 30 years, I learned a lot.
There’s so much about cutting, and cutting efficiently, that none of us ever think about. I signed up for Cut To It immediately! I’m very anxious to watch all of the lessons.
Debbie has graciously provided a link whereby QM readers can get the class for half off the regular price. We appreciate her generosity in making this possible.
Please visit our Parade of Homes page for free quilting motifs, a block pattern and links to the latest giveaways.
Let’s have a giveaway. For your chance to win this block made by Debbie Caffrey and a copy of our Sept/Oct issue, leave a comment below before midnight Wednesday, August 27. We’ll choose a random winner and announce it here. The winner is #1, Sandy Wootten.
