QM Patch Pals: The Bunny Baby

I went to a local quilt guild meeting recently. A member I’d never met shared a wonderful story with me.

Jane Fox

Her name is Jane Fox and she’s from Hastings, Nebraska.

At one month, Hailyn enjoys the Bunny Patch quilt from Great-Grandma Jane.

Jane made Quiltmaker’s Bunny Patch and gave it as a baby gift to her great-granddaughter Hailyn. Hailyn’s parents are Josh and Jen Fox from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Age two months

Jen took a picture of Hailyn on the quilt, not once, not twice, but every single month during the baby’s first year of life.

Hailyn seems pleased to be three months old.

She has been sending the photos to Great Grandma Jane each month.

Hailyn at seven months is still loving the Bunny Patch.

Her hair is filling in nicely.

And now things start to get interesting.

And now I’m outta here!

As a new grandma myself, I can imagine how much fun this was for Jane, who made such a great bunny quilt. Quiltmaker would like to thank the Fox family for sharing their adorable little girl with us!
