Love to have block party in or around Houston tx. So come to Texas!

  2. Lee says:

I loved the color help one – I always need assistance with that. Thanks for the info!

  3. Judy says:

The color post is the best help for me…how to choose!

  4. Donna Amos says:

I like the quick label post. I like the idea of making some generic lables while doing a special one. Save a lot of waste on the fabric for the printer.

  5. Lisa says:

The label post is my favorite – not just for the authors’ info but also the original comments from your readers on how they adapt the printed labels. Turning it into a pocket to hold scraps for mending, and adding a picture to the document before printing are great ideas I will try!

  6. Jennifer says:

I liked the quilt lable post and have used it a few times ever since. A label is such an essential part of making a quilt and yet it seems to be the step I skip the most. Not anymore!

  7. VickiT says:

I really like the Color Tools for Quilters because learning about color is one thing I still need help with.

  8. Brenda says:

Both the color entry and the label entry are extremely useful. Our quild’s theme this year is color and we get bonus points in a UFO challenge for putting labels on our pieces. Both guild topics have made me stay alert to suggestions.

  9. LizaA says:

I loke the Color Tool. I always struggle with choosing colors!

  10. Becky S says:

I like the Color Tool post. That looks like a handy tool.
Thanks for the chance to win.

  11. jmniffer says:

The Color Tool post as I have a difficult time choosing colors. Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.

  12. Ali M says:

The color tool post, because no matter how much I read I’m always clueless about getting past choosing a few colors that go together…I still just dont understand how to work with value and hue so I enjoyed refreshing some of the information with this post!

  13. Linda E in AZ says:

I really like the label article – lots of tips that I should have known (“duh”) but just never thought about. I’ll have to try it on my next label.
    thanks!

  14. Kaye M. says:

Little Windmills is my favorite! I use them for my “leaders and enders” which is Bonnie Hunter’s technique to sew a patch after stitching pieces for the main project that I’m working on. Its also a great way to use up little scraps!

  15. They’re all great posts – great easy labeling idea, quick little easy block for those who need something speedy…. but I’d have to say the Color Tool post was my fav! What a handy little tool. SO useful for those who have trouble with color choices…
Thanks for the chance to win this giveaway. Good Luck to all..

  16. Karen says:

The little windmills post is a quick easy method to use up scraps or a coordinated colorway. The block could be adapted to any size quilt and would make a great leaders and enders project.

  17. Nicole says:

Definitely Color Tools! Even if you’re good with matching colors, this tool would be helpful!

  18. Barb J says:

Free patterns are always good, but I think that the Little Windmills post contained much more than just a pattern! I love the “Brain-Free” sewing idea – sure can use it on days when I want to sew and not have to think too hard about what I’m doing!

  19. Gloria B says:

Oh it has to be the quilt label.
I’ve been making labels by this method since I first saw it here.

  20. Sue says:

Color tools for quilters. I certainly could have used that on my last multi-color project! I had troubles with the tints.

  21. Pat D says:

I love the quick labels method. I try to label all of my quilts and this is an easy method to do that. Thanks.

  22. Rachell R says:

I liked the Quick Labels–I’ve already used it on a few of my labels–very easy and worked great! I liked the facing method–it really helps the label from not shifting as you’re sewing it on! I also added a few small strips of Clover fusible web tape and fused the faced label onto the quilt back–it worked great!

  23. Deb says:

Making a label!!! I need to learn how to do it so it looks just as good as my quilt! Thanks so much for that post – my favorite.

  24. KT says:

I like the little windmills pattern–it looks like a lot of fun!

the best of prior posts is the little label post … i’ve not labeled my earlier quilts, but i now i do with this helpful tute.

  30. Jan Kinshella says:

I have been really curious about labels so thought the quick quilt label would be my favorite but I don’t have a printer. So I checked out the Little Windmills quilt and I loved it. It made me realize how I could change around a simple pattern and make something different. I am going to try a few experiments. 3bakergirlsgo@gmail.com
