Quiltmaker is pleased to offer several free patterns to our readers and Facebook friends. I hope you’ll take advantage of the ones you like.

We know that not everyone uses Facebook and that’s okay! If you’re not on Facebook and don’t care to be, please read on for other patterns that are available to you.

For our readers who do use Facebook, this week we’ve posted a new free pattern called Butterfliers. It features three-dimensional butterflies in a happy setting that makes a great baby or toddler quilt. Change up the colors as you wish to make it uniquely your own. This pattern will be available until the end of March.

We do have a few kits of Butterfliers to make your sewing easier than ever.

Other free patterns

For a long time, Quiltmaker has published a foundation pattern annually in support of Project Linus. All of those patterns are available free of charge. The 2013 pattern was designed by QM Graphic Designer Denise Starck. It’s called Ladybug Hugs.

One of my favorite Project Linus patterns from the past is Kisses and Hugs. It’s given as paper foundation piecing but could easily be adapted to “stitch and flip” instead if you prefer that method.
