Quiltmaker is pleased to offer several free patterns to our readers and Facebook friends. I hope you’ll take advantage of the ones you like.
For our readers who do use Facebook, this week we’ve posted a new free pattern called Butterfliers. It features three-dimensional butterflies in a happy setting that makes a great baby or toddler quilt. Change up the colors as you wish to make it uniquely your own. This pattern will be available until the end of March.
We do have a few kits of Butterfliers to make your sewing easier than ever.
Other free patterns
For a long time, Quiltmaker has published a foundation pattern annually in support of Project Linus. All of those patterns are available free of charge. The 2013 pattern was designed by QM Graphic Designer Denise Starck. It’s called Ladybug Hugs.
One of my favorite Project Linus patterns from the past is Kisses and Hugs. It’s given as paper foundation piecing but could easily be adapted to “stitch and flip” instead if you prefer that method.
Be sure to check out the Project Linus free pattern page for many more great patterns, all on us.
Wherever you choose to interact with Quiltmaker, we’re glad to have you. If you complete a quilt from our patterns, we’d love to see a photo. Send email to firstname.lastname@example.org or post it on our Facebook page.
