As of Tuesday night, Quiltmaker’s Treasure Hunt contest is over. We wanted to thank each one of our readers and customers for their entries. We really appreciate the time and energy you spent on the Treasure Hunt and we hope you discovered some great quilt tools or information along the way.
We are in the process of compiling all the data from thousands of entries across the sites of 18 industry sponsors and Quiltmaker.com. Once the information is brought together, winners will be selected and notified.
Each of the 27 winners must respond and be verified. When the winners are notified, they each have 14 days to respond. For each person who doesn’t respond, a new winner is chosen, and again has 14 days to respond.
So you can see that before long, the weeks can add up and delay the announcement of official winners considerably.
Once all of the paperwork is complete, a public announcement of winners can be made.
We wanted to share this information with you because we know there is a lot of excitement out there. Everyone is interested in knowing who won. And when a contest is digital, it may seem like there should be an immediate announcement. Rest assured that we are working as quickly as we can to bring you the results.
One lucky person will win a Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen longarm quilting machine!
Another lucky person will win a PFAFF quilt expression 4.0!
Twenty-five additional winners will take home boxes of fabric, books and other quilty fun! You may be one of the lucky ones. I hope you are!
We greatly appreciate the participation of our sponsors during the Treasure Hunt. If you’d like to show your appreciation, feel free to tell them thanks and give them a “like” on their Facebook pages, which are linked below. Every one has contributed significantly in terms of time, support and merchandise. Thanks so much to them, and to you.

I tried to enter some of the Treasure hunt sites, but could never get the squiggly letters entered correctly and I’ve not had a problem doing that on other sites. Can this be made easier when you do this again. After being rejected about 5 times on one site, I gave up doing the rest. My time is worth something also.
We’ll look at this and all other aspects of the Treasure Hunt contest to make it even better in 2013! In the meantime I can assure you that the code verification does work for the majority of people. Our best advice to those who have trouble on any of our contests is to try entering from a different browser: Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.
I am holding my breath to know the winners! I would LOVE to win any of the prizes. A longarm, or a PFAFF sewing machine would be a great improvement for me. Thanks again to all the sponsors who contributed,I hope I hope I win!!!!!!!!!!!!
I entered all 19 and I did have a few problems but I figured it out and I know I’m a winner. Yes. Thank you. Frances
I had fun looking at all the sites and searching for the entry form. I saw lots of new products that I would love to have and use. Thanks for the chance to win.
I would like to say a great big thank you to all the sponsors who were involved in giving their products away…The give aways make it fun and rewarding for a few.
I appreciate the “free” things because I know it costs someone something…and it keeps me coming back! Thank you !
What an adventure finding all of the Treasure Hunt 2012 sites and their treasure trunks. I had a great time and really found soooooooo many additional treasures for me and my quilting habit!!! Thanks and have my fingers crossed!
