Your cover of blocks truly matches the heading of “Traditional to Modern.” I also like the type where mixes the aqua and the black for the “From Today’s Top Designers” list as well as Inspiring (such a large gallery this edition) and the Creative Idea of turning applique into quilting designs. Just from the photos and short wording on the cover, it tells me that there is something for most every quilter in this edition. The mug with all the thumbnails of quilt blocks is cool! Would love to drink my morning coffee with that inspiration in front of me!

I *love* my “100 Blocks Volume 5″ which I received from the USA – it has been much admired by my quilting friends, too. As soon as I received your newsletter I checked online but cannot find a UK supplier for Volume 6

I’ve only been quilting for 3 years~~finally have time after teaching 40.5 years. I love it; and I have found that I love quilting blocks. I try to create the block I’ve chosen to learn using my favorite Western colors and designs. Once I have enough to make a quilt, then they will be used. I see from the cover of the new Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks vol 6 quite a few I could use. Thank you Quiltmaker!

What I like about the cover is that is covers all of us quilters – traditional to modern, applique and paper pieced, kids and grownups. I also want to read how to convert appliques to quilting motifs. So many great options!

This is just great…My quilting group used volumns 1-4 to do what we called our bucket quilt. We chose our fabric then we used the 100 quilt blocks to do our blocks ..Each person chose 2 blocks of their choice to do for the bucket they had each month…Then end of the year we each had a beautiful quilt made from the 100 quilt block mag. Now we can start this year2013 again and use volumns 5 & 6.. Can’t wait…The front looks just lovely…

I am so looking forward to seeing all the treasures inside this magazine! I love the scarecrow on the front (my daughter won an I’ve skating competition dressed as a scarecrow). It gave me a great idea for a quilt I hadn’t thought of before – making one with blocks inspired from all her skating costumes. I bet there are other blocks in. this magazine that I could also use for it. Like maybe the one with 4 colors that merge like a path – I also really like it.

I visited the blogs given and was blown away by all the lovely quilts to be seen there, with all the other information. I greatly enjoyed it. My favourite site was Erin Cox’s with her quaint “Two birds holding a quilt” block. I also loved all the other little bird designs.

I love all the quilt blocks I have seen here. I love the way all these quilters put colors together, something I am very much lacking. From what I have seen, I would love to make a sampler quilt with as many blocks I can put in the quilt.
