  13. I like the Firey Flower. I have a grandson who would love to have a quilt for his bed made with this pattern. I would use all primary colors because he is a small child.

    I liked the change up of the Russian dolls from the reds to the pastels. They make such a cute table runner. My husband comes from Russian heritage, so it would be appropriate for us to have on our table!!

  46. I love “Shifting Gears”. I have the issue with the smaller block in it and have been struggling to find a pattern from it. I love all the blocks and quilts that have been shown though.

    What’s not to like? My son is a total gearhead, so he’d love something like the Shifting Gears quilt; my husband studied the Soviet Union for his master’s degree, and my daughter loves small, cute things, so the 13 Li’l Matryoshki would be great for them; and I love gardening and primitives, so Posy Path would be for me! Can you include some extra days along with the book so that I have time to make them all? ;)

    Flowers always grab my fancy so it was so hard to choose which pattern I liked the best; would it be Purple Passion, Mexican Sunflower, All Buckled Up? But the one that won the day for me was 13 Lil’ Matryoshki – I have a Large family and it would be such fun to do that up for my girls. They love little nesting dolls and would enjoy this delightful pattern as well! I saw the info on Bonnie Hunter’s site.
