    OMG you have truly made it hard to decide on one pattern as I see at least 10 I would make, but I would have to make the Mexican Sunflowers as my #1.     It’s my birthday today! I was on facebook and saw this post among all the birthday wishes. I was so excited to see this new book. I subscribe to MaCall’s and our quilt group just finished the mystery quilt, (We sent a picture of all four of us with our quilts.) so I am on the search got my next project. I loved the Mexican Sunflowers! I saw a beautiful batik with a yellow/ red theme. It will be perfect! Can’t wait to get started!

    I love the ideas of taking one of the 100 quilt blocks and turning it into a stunning wall or larger quilt. The Mexican Flowers quilt is awesome. I would like to be able to make the leap from one quilt block idea to a full size quilt and have mine turn out half as nice as the ones shown here!

    I love 13 Lil’ Matryoshki. These dolls have been a favorite of my daughter’s since she was little and is the gift she brought back for the women in the family from her study abroad time in Lithuanian. It would be great to make her something like this as I know she’d treasure it.

    I love the simplicity of Turtle Lagoon. I think it would be beautiful to use batiks to blend the water into a soothing flow of greens, blues and aquas. Sea turtles are endangered, and this will help remind folks to cherish our sea creatures, no matter how small.

    I have used wool as a frame for my needlework wall hangings. I have even used cut up wool from men’s shirts. Wool is expensive but absolutely beautiful.
