Thank you for breaking this down into more manageable chunks! It was enjoyable to really be able to spend some time with each blogger, reading some of their previous posts, instead of just blasting through to get done.

Thanks for all the giveaways, and the insight into new blogs. I probably spend between a half to an hour every morning looking thru the blogs, and some of the comments. Thanks again.

  34. SewLindaAnn says:

Probably about 10 hours. I anticipated it though because I’ve done all the others too. I take my morning coffee time and breaks throughout the day, but mostly a couple of hours in the morning. Some blogs weren’t updated till later so I checked back, and it was fun to read more than just the Vol. 4 post. I found lots of books, patterns and ideas that I otherwise wouldn’t have, and learned more about people I’ve already subscribed to. Most of all though, it’s just fun and inspiring to connect with more creative souls out there who love everything textile related. I always take advantage of the subscription offers on Quiltmaker and Quilter’s Newsletter. At least one of them is paid out till 2013. Thank you once again, and I look forward to the next one!

  35. Brenda Reichers says:

  39. cynthia says:

I visited all the blogs every day and returned to some again, so I probably spent a hour each day. It’s been so interesting to see all the variety!

  40. Marcia K says:

Oh good grief! I think I spent about 45 minutes each day.. I tend to get a bit distracted by all the pretty colors. LOL.

  41. Donna says:

Enjoyed the block tour! Would have loved to have spent more time visiting but was only to take about 1/2 hour each day. Had to go to work – but how would I enjoy purchasing quilt fabric if I didn’t? :-)

  42. lynn hahn says:

I’ve probably spent 2 hours/day on your blog. I’ve been layed up because of an injury, so it’s been really nice to visit all the blogs and explore their goodness.

  52. Diane O. says:

Such fun! I can get lost for hours in these blogs. So much talent!

  53. Colette says:

I haven’t spent enough time but too much time. Does that make any sense? While I thoroughly enjoyed going through ALL the blogs and sites, I should have been down in my quilt room doing the very thing everybody else is doing–MAKING QUILTS!

  54. I have been poking around each and every site. Sometimes even poking around their link sites. So my time spent has been as much as 3 hours a day. While I should have been doing other things I have found so many neat little tidbits that I don’t care.

  55. Nancy says:

I will have spent about 10 hrs. on here after this mornings tour. I can’t just look at the blocks lol….I have to check out their blogs and some of their favorite blog sites too. It is a great time!! Needless to say, no quilting this week….put the time on here instead.

  56. Linda says:

I spent at least two hours each day bloghopping during 100blocks days. I entered most giveaways, became a follower on several new blogs, got lots of new ideas and also learned new techniques. So, I had a great time and even if I win a copy of the magazine, I will also be buying at least three for Christmas gifts for my quilty buddies. Thanks!!

gosh! I am not real sure but I will guess 1/2 hour to an hour. It really has been fun and I can’t believe it is the last day.

  63. Myra Sattler says:

Loved all the blocks you showed.

  64. Patti says:

This has been great fun. I spent about 4 hours. Had to have some limits, to make time for work. But I have bookmarked a lot of great sites to return to. Thanks for the chance to win.

  65. Candy in MI says:

I think I spent at least an hour each day, maybe more, reviewing the blogs. What fun!

  66. Marge in Louisiana says:

Conservatively, I would say at least an hour a day. Sometimes I would get so hung up following leads that it was even longer. So much fun, so little time. G

  67. Diane Durrant says:

I’ve loved doing the tour these past 5 days. Such wonderful blocks and great blogs (although I had trouble accessing some of the blogs on Day 1). I think I spent at least an hour each day looking at the blogs, and on some days it was several hours because I got caught up looking at all the fun projects each of the block contributors had previously worked on. I’m excited to get and use Vol 4 of 100 Blocks! Thanks for letting us all participate in the tour and get to know the block contributors better!!

  68. Jeanne says:

I probably sent 4 hrs this week cruising all the blogs. It was so fun I hated when I would get to the end of the list each day. Thanks for the fun and a great magazine!!!

  69. Debbie says:

Thank you so much for this wonderful tour and the fantastic magazine. we love it.

  70. Sandra says:

OMG – This has been fun. I have spent at least 3 hours every morning checking out all of the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks and their designers and their blogs every day. I need to win this magazine in order to make all of these creative block designs. I have invested really hard work without your coffee mug to compensate myself for spending so much time on this computer looking and wishing. So, I guess I have spent a total of 15 hours this week just admiring and entering my name for a chance to win. What a greay way to spend your morning every day. Now, I will have block withdrawals. Really need to have that magazine.

  79. Kathy O in GA says:

You mean I have to commit to writing how much time I “wasted” on the computer this week??? I have loved every minute of it…about 2-3 hours every morning! I love checking out all the blogs, seeing all the fresh inspirational ideas…and hating that the “bucket list” is growing exponentially! I hope there will be many more issues to add to the collection, for years to come, of course with a blog tour to match! And…I’m glad so far the bucket list is in my head and not on paper, but maybe that is why the memory comes and goes, ha ha!

  80. Carol B in Iowa says:

RJR are some of my favorite fabrics

  81. Lee Ann L. says:

I’d say about 6.5 hours so far. (I’m a slow reader as I like to explore the blogs sometimes. :-) And, there is a couple of links that haven’t posted their blocks/info yet. So, it’d probably will go up to 7 hours total. :-)

Thank you for doing this blog hop! It’s the best one out of the ones I participated in. :-)

I think I have spent an enjoyable 3 hours on the blogs this week. Yay me.

Well, every morning, with my cup of coffee, watching red leaves fall from the tree out my window, so I’m guessing a 1/2 hour everyday. At least. Thanks for all of the inspiration and a chance to win also. What could be better!

  84. Kay Ahr says:

Maybe about 10 hours. 2 hours each day. It’s a great way to try to be quiet while I’ve got the sniffles and sneezes.

  85. Linda H. says:

Whoa! What a question! Will anyone honestly admit how much time is used-up playing blogging games… hopping all over the blogosphere? I’ll say one hour, but I wouldn’t be surprised to know it’s more. I appreciate the chance to win your giveaway. Thank you.

  86. KT says:

I spent way too much time on the blog tour–and loved every minute of it! Everyone’s blogs are so inspiring! Thanks for the chance to win!

  88. Sherry Denton says:

    Great blocks and fun blogs!

  89. natio radison says:

That question is like asking how much time do you spend in the shower..it could be embarrassing to reveal the truth. I guess about 10 minutes each blog site and then time to ponder and think over the work , roughly 15-20 minutes per visit times 50 odd = it seems far too much and now I AM embarrassed. But the rewards are that I have learned so much and enjoyed and learned about people whose paths I may never have had the pleasure of crossing. …at least I do not shower that long.

  90. Karen says:

I loved taking the tour! Probably spent an hour or two each day checking all the blogs out. This is a great idea and I hope you do it again next year. Thanks for all the fun!

  96. A.J. Dub says:

I spent probably about 10 minutes a day. (I am trying to stay off the computer, so in the past it would have been way more.)
    Thanks for a fun week!

  97. Mary C in WA says:

I feel like my time on the Blog Hop has been timeless, I didn’t count how long it took. I know I stayed up a little later than usual to post the first comments a few days online. I’d guess around 2 hours per day, since one blog lead to another and it takes time to comment, become a Follower and fill in all those Secret word things. Thank you for the great issue that is being Given away that keeps us up at night and online searching in the day.

  98. Gwen Windham says:

How much time have I spent on this blog tour…..???? Probably way more than I should have! LOL BUT, I have loved every minute of it!!! SO many wonderful sites and so many beautiful ideas I’ve came across!! Isn’t the internet the most incredible thing!!! :-) Thanks for the fun!!

This is my first blog tour and I have really taken my time and enjoyed it. I would guess that I have spent at least 10 hours or more. It also is going to cost me a lot more time as I signed up to follow many of the blogs. Thank you for a great give away.

  110. I spent 4 hours the first day, just enjoying each and every designer’s blog. I decided to do that each day. So that’s about 20 – 25 hours for me.

  111. Mary Flynn says:

I’ve really enjoyed the blog tour! Though I think some of my comments weren’t able to post and with some frustration I would try a few times and give up. (I hope today’s post because I really want a mug!!) I spent a great deal of time checking out each block maker’s blog and even added my name in as a follower so I can return to see more. I’ve enjoyed “meeting” new bloggers too! I’ve spent way more time than I want to admit and still have today’s to visit as I write this. I’m guessing time invested has been a good 6 hours if not more during those frustrating times of trying to post.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Some sites I get lost in, checking out what else they have talked about and their other patterns so at least 10 hours.

    Debbie

  137. Karlene says:

The blogs have helped keep me sane as we are packing up to move house – selling the old & buying a new house is wonderful but oh my the packing up is horrendous, still there’s always a few minutes somewhere to sneak a quick look at good blogs or put a few stitches into a project (that I haven’t packedf that is!)

  141. candace says:

Okie dokie, Artichoke! Well, let me see….an hour plus each day except for Wed which was family busy so between 5 and 5.5 hours of pure unadulterated bliss! Thank you very much!!

  142. this has been a very fun week. i estimate between 25 and 30 hours spent doing this. s

  143. Karen A says:

  144. Robin F. says:

I spend more than an hour a day reading the blogs, but don’t tell my family!

But this has been great fun.

  149. Celine says:

Lots of time I have spent on the blog tour this week. At least one hour every night but probably closer to 1H30 so that’s between 5 and 7.5H! BUT it doesn’t matter because I have discovered lots of wonderful blocks, which makes me very itchy to win this lovely magazine (or buy it if I am not lucky enough!) and I have discovered lots of interesting and great blogs. I am slow on a blog hop because I usually end up reading the post for the tour and a few posts before the tour as well, to make sure I am getting the most of the blog I am visiting! Anyway I’ll keep my fingers crossed now that around Monday I get a lovely birthday present!

  150. Joanne Kostka says:

I haven’t had much time for the tour, maybe only 1 hour…hoping to do more this weekend to catch up. Both of the special magazine offers are awesome…I want the quilt designs for myself but was thinking of a subscription gift for a friend…decisions, decsisions!

  151. Debbi says:

Just started! I’ll probably spend the rest of the afternoon 3 or 4 hours going around the blogs backtracking.

I’ve totally enjoyed this blog tour and it’s made me aware of the 100 Blocks magazine which is a real plus. But, to get to the question… I think I must have spent about 2 each day for a total of 10 fun and informative hours. :)

  158. I’ve spent close to 5 hours–one each day.

  159. Marianne says:

Love to do this block tour. I spent about 3 hours checking out all the great blocks and blogs. Thanks for all the fun and chances to win.

I have had so much fun looking through each of these blogs! So many great ideas and an overload of creativity, I am ready for the weekend of quilting!!

I spent about an hour each day (total 5), except on Tuesday, each blog seemed to have something so fantastic, my husband said I was on there for ‘hours’!!

Thank you everyone that was a part of this to put on such a great tour. Great magazine and can’t wait to get my hands on my own copy!

  173. Alison says:

Not much time spent here as I only just found the blog tour..don’t know how I missed it

  174. Claudia says:

I really can’t say with any certainty how much time I’ve been here. Every time my “Quilty Pleasures Blog” is “lit up”, I have to go check and see what’s new. At least an hour a day, and probably more. Doing the blog tour is like reading the encyclopedia or dictionary (I know, those are ancient tomes), one thing leads to another. I was in Australia the other night, all with the click of the mouse. Love the variety, and each volume of “100 Blocks” is better than the last. Looking forward to the next one.

  175. Janet says:

Oh probably about five hours. There is so much to look at. Thanks for a fun blog and block tour.

  184. Debby Patz says:

Oh, this is just great. Nobody told me there was going to be a quiz at the end! I would have to estimate somewhere around 7 hours; I would have spent more but I had to work two of the days and spent one day out of town. I hope you don’t lose probability points for guessing!

  185. Rachelle says:

probably not that long, I’ve been saving the posts for later consumption so maybe about 10 minutes per post.

  190. The quick answer is not as much time as I would like because my computer time has been work related. Now I am finished my work I expect I will spend a couple of hours checking out some of the blogs on this tour. Thanks for hosting the tour and for sharing such nice fabrics and a magazine. Your winners will be thrilled.
    Regards,
    Anna

  191. Teresa in Music City says:

Are you kidding? How am I supposed to keep track of all those lovely hours I spent drooling over those blocks????? I would guess about 10-12 hours, maybe more! Thank you so much for putting on the Blog Tour – it is SEW MUCH FUN!!!! Of course, it would be even MORE fun if I won a mug and other wonderful stuff (hint, hint, hint!!!)

  192. Kerry says:

I’ve loved following the Blog tour. Think I’ve spent about an hour per day or a little more! Soon adds up. So between 5-10 hours. Oh dear! LOL.

  193. VickiT says:

AWESOME blog tour for Volume 4! I found the quilters blogs a bit more informative this time about their blocks and more. (OR maybe it feels that way since I am now doing quilting rather than studying and reading which is what I was doing during the last blog tour and I may understand more now)
I am sure in all the reading of the new blogs I found during this tour and those I had already visited before and wandering around the blogs as I did, it was a lot of time. In all honesty, I have no doubt the time I spent this tour is no less than 12 1/2 hrs and possibly more if you count the emailing back and forth with some of those who created their blocks. Quite a few were awesome and right on top of their comments and emailed me to thank or comment back regarding what I posted on their blog. That was really great of all that did that as I’m sure they spent a lot of time doing so.

Thank you for such an awesome tour and another great 100 Blocks issue that I’m ready to have in my hands NOW and yet I have another 4 days before it’s supposed to be hitting the stands.

  194. At least an hour a day. This is my time for me! So much fun.

  195. Bev Gunn says:

I spent several hours per day the first couple of days as I would explore the blogs and web sites. Then I went to just leaving a comment and going on to the next one-wasn’t getting ANY sewing done! Plus, kept seeing more projects that looked like fun and I have enough things in process!

  196. Kathy says:

I would say I have spent at least 1/2 hour a day on the tour so 2 1/2 hours this week. Thanks for this great tour, it was fun!

  197. Nancy says:

I decided I needed to catch up on my Christmas crafting so haven’t been doing much computer time. Unfortunately I’m late on the blog hop :( So this time around I haven’t spent much time…….yet. Do plan on doing some catch up!

  198. Shaaryn says:

Some really lovely blocks. I love Cinzia’s most, lovely subtle and crisp look, love her use of batiks.

About three and one half hours. Enjoyed every minute!!

  207. Charlotte Dudley says:

A couple hours. Would like to spend more, but…

  208. It has been an absolutely wild week. I’ve spent about two hours each day on the blog hop, but would love to have had more time to spend. Loved visiting each designer’s page and getting to know them. Again, thanks for a fabulous event! The 100 Blocks blog tour is one of my favorites! Have a great weekend!

  209. KrisD says:

I absolutely love the Little Laundry block! Just adorable! Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of the magazine. What inspiration!!! Maybe I’ll win a copy before I get one picked up. Thanks for the blog hop. It was so much fun seeing what the block designers came up with and how they came up with them.

  210. Debbie says:

I know I spent about 45 minutes to an hour everyday one blog leads to another.. I probably bookmarked 95% of the blogs listed this was a blast. Thank you I was a winner already without winning the magazine. Of course I am still hoping I am a winner……

Thank you so much for another wonderful 100 block magzine blog tour. It’s so much fun to see the new blocks and here the hows and whys behind the designers inspiration for their block. It means so much more than just buying the magazine and paging through it at home. I spent probably 5-6 hours this week checking out the blogs and commenting. It always energizes me to get into my sewing space and get busy.

  214. Lynne says:

I have popped in to have a look in all my spare moments:-) All the blocks are just wonderful again. I have thoroghly enjoyed both the blogs and the inspirations behind the creating of all these wonderful blocks.
Thanks so much for bringing this wonderful tour to us.

  215. Niki says:

It took awhile to visit all the new-for-me blogs. Enjoyed the several hours of quilts pleasure.

  216. Cecilia says:

I probably spent at least 3 hours so far this week. I had two quilting classes this week and wasn’t able to participate for 2 days but I will try to catch up tonight. Thanks for all of the great blocks and giveaways.

  217. Linda says:

I probably spent a 1/2 hour a day if my husband asks but it’s probably more than that! Love to win! Thanks for the chance!

  222. Niki says:

This was my first blog tour and I am very happy to have found your site. I will be a constant visitor.

  223. Nancy Sue says:

Oh, my, what a loaded question….does that count all the trips to the coffeepot and secret stash of chocolate to enjoy while I’m drooling over the featured blogs and blocks? I’d say prob. an hour and a half each day. (During my 4 yr old’s nap). I’m going to have blog tour withdrawl come Monday naptime!

  224. Amanda says:

Keep track of the time while blog hopping? More time than I should, but I have to admit not quite enough to read every single one. (Blush.) The ones that I have read though have been good reads, some with good ideas to add to my “maybe someday in the future” notebook. Thanks!
