love the dog block above, super awesome!! all the blogs are neat, now I need to go back and browse through them some more, I love coffee mugs, and have been trying to earn myself a QM 100 blocks mug for a little bit, thanks!!!

  6. Lynne says:

I think my favourite block would have to be Pinwheel Pizzazz by June Dudley. It would look wonderful in so many fabric ranges especially the zippy ones. Followed very closely by Meg Hawkey’s Merry Merry. It is such a Happy Block in fact they both are and they would be such fun to make.

  7. Joyce Mitchell says:

Enjoyed reading Denise Russart’s blog post. Her dog & butterfly block is so cute & she included another sweet dog block. Thanks for the opportunity to win. Love the 100 Blocks mag.

  8. Leanne says:

There are so many fabulous blocks, and this is only a taste! I loved the ones by June Dudley, Jennifer Schifano Eutsler, Denise Russart and Diane Nagle. Can’t wait to see more.

  9. Martina says:

Loved to visit all, but Meg has a fun puzzle to do. Phu I am still working on that…Thanks for amoher great blog tour!

  10. Jocelyn says:

How very fun. I really loved June Dudley’s blog post. It was zippy :-)

  11. Vivian says:

Besides all the great block ideas, another great feature of the “100 Blocks” issues is finding new-to-you designers and blogs. It was fun to meet Jennifer Schifano Eutsler. I like that she does applique designs and was even more impressed with her experiences as a new designer for the magazine. Gives hope to aspiring designers everywhere!

  12. Donna says:

All the blocks are great! I am especially drawn to Sue Marsh’s photo frames for fussy cuts. The possibilities for this block are endless.

Jennifer Schifalno-Eutsler’s turtle is adorable and I really like Emily Herrick’s flower block. I’m loving the blog tour.

  13. Lisa Marie says:

So many great blocks and blogs. I especially loved Sonja’s block. One bonus of this blog tour (besides seeing all the gorgeous blocks) is discovering new blogs. Several of the ones on the list today were new to me and I enjoyed visiting them. Thanks for offering this week of fun!

  14. Donna says:

I have to admit that out of all of them, I spent the most time at Benita Skinners because I had never seen so much available at one place! I do love the embroidery at Meg Hawkey’s even though I don;t have an embroidery machine, I would love to handle tackle some of those designs!

  15. Robyn Brown says:

I love Meg’s of Crabapple Hill. I just love the visual inspiration I find whenever I go there.

  16. Donelle says:

Love Meg Hawley’s blog post. I wish I could embroider. I was too young to learn from my Great G’ma and now it is too late. This is another thing I plan on teaching myself when the snow flies this winter. Have a great day!

  17. Diane Harris says:

Hi Donna, the good news is that Meg’s designs are for hand embroidery! So fun and entirely relaxing. You’d love it!

  18. SewLindaAnn says:

I was so excited for the #4 blog tour and was NOT disappointed!! and by the way you had me at “mug” Fave today was definitely Meg Hawley. I’m a huge fan of Crabapple Hill designs and cannot wait for her new Garden Alphabet! I had my coffee with her puzzle. The dolphin was new and fabulous, I love turtles and the pinwheels in the 12″ block were great because I saw how she broke up the block. My fave thing about your tours are the fresh faces and designs you bring to the table and I’ve loved every one of them. Thanks for the great work!

  19. Edrie reedy says:

I never been to a online tour it is great I love first time great and exciting ideas thank you very much

  20. Yvonne Hamilton says:

    Meg Hawley’s “knot-y Girl’s Stitchery Club!”

  21. Andrea Diamond says:

It is way to hard to pick just one favorite. They are all special, but if I had to pick one I would have to say that June Dudley’s block with the red, white and black pinwheels just jumps right off the page.

  22. Joan says:

I love Sonja Callaghan’s Little Monkey and Denise Russart’s dogs!!

  23. Carrie P. says:

I enjoyed Whistlepig creek. I really like the block and setting. I have really enjoyed hopping through the blogs in years past and have all 3 issues so far. Maybe I will win #4.

  24. Deb Martens says:

I especially liked #7, Denise Russart.

  25. Brenda Sanders says:

I love Meg’s designs. They are enough to make me want to get out my embroidery thread and go at it!

  26. Colette says:

I think I like Emily Herrick’s site the best for that “warm fuzzy” feeling. I’m a SAHM too because there are currently no teaching jobs in Michigan. Therefore, I’m utilizing my 17 years worth of quilt making experience to build up an inventory of completed quilt and quilt projects to eventually open an on-line store. I also liked the Debbie Taylor/Kim Jolly site for all their creative inspiration. I am not a seamstress, but can create other great things with textiles (although, my inspiration is limited…I’m more of a same but different kind of girl). However, the entire morning was spent here on my Apple checking out each site and I must say, they are all chocked full of information!

  27. Jan Strickland says:

WOW…..so much to absorb. Mind in overload as to what I’m going to us where. Thanks!!!!

  28. Karee says:

I enjoyed all the blogs, however, #1 Sonja would be my fav. #13 June was a close, close 2nd. Love your 100 Blocks volumes — some blocks draw me in, some blocks inspire me to make them right away, some blocks are perfect for someone else, some blocks help me see color use outside my comfort zone, and some blocks are simply lovely to look at knowing I would never do them.

  29. Staci says:

today I especially enjoyed Emily’s and Meg’s blog. Thanks for a chance to win. These issues are such treasure troves for those of us who do a lot of bees and swaps.

  30. Barbara Huston says:

    I like June’s the best!

  31. kaholly says:

I am really taken with Emily’s sunflower block!

  32. Rita Sheloff says:

I like Sonja Callaghan`s blog. I also love the photo of her in incognito on Halloween!! Ha! Ha!

  33. I liked #3 Blog Felicity Miller’s block. Very beautiful. I am drawn to that fabric collection colors. Also loved #12 blog of Sue Marsh on the whimsical dog block pattern. Looking forward to getting vol #4 as I have the other 3.

  34. Colleen says:

Thank you for another quilty blog tour! I so enjoyed last years! Today I love the Let Sleeping Dogs Lie quilt at Justquiltin with Denise Russart. So much inspiration and its only the first day! thanks!

  38. I enjoyed Denise Russart at Justquiltin, but I am a sucker for pets.

  39. Jeanne says:

I liked all the blogs!! I think my absolute favorites were June’s and Meg’s and Felicity’s and Sonja’s and……..

  40. arlette says:

Oh my!!!!!!, I’m going to be tied to my chair for all the week long. Yayyyyyyyyyy for all of us!!!!, it’s the party you always want to be invited, **throwing ballons and confetti all around**, I’m always babbling with the blocks and the magazine, well I have to behave and focus…, I already went to the blocks for today, love their shapes and colors, but I got hipnotized by June Dudley, the Pinwheels… 3, 2, 1 woops!!!!

  41. A.J. Dub says:

June’s is my favorite. I used to hate pinwheels but her block is too fun! I will have to make that one.

  42. Linda E in AZ says:

I especially enjoyed Denise Russart’s blog and her block!
    thanks!

  43. Linda says:

I loved them all but my top fav was June’s post because I love pinwheels so much.

  44. Jeanne says:

I enjoyed Denise, Janice, and Junes blogs.

Denise blocks just made me smile trying to think of a name for her dog.

Janice’s blog post pointed me in the direction of some new ways to use my EQ7. YEAH!

June’s block was probably my favorite as I love those SAzzy Jazzy pinwheels. :-)

Hope I win as I could really use those wonderful quilting designs!

  45. Lori S says:

I have to say I just loved Sonja”s Artisania blog. Her style is unique and I had a great time looked at her past projects. I am looking forward to the rest of the hop and the rest of the blocks. Thanks for the chance to win!

I have to say that I loved Sonja Callaghan’s Lil Monkey block. Her post was very colorful and happy on this fine Monday morning!

  47. Jeanne says:

I really like the Jolly Jabber from FatQuarterShop. It is informative and shows all
up to date fabrics and designers.

  48. Beth Camp says:

I really enjoyed all the entries, but 6 Jennifer Eutsler and 7 Denise Russart were most appealing — until I fell in love with 10 Janice Averill’s combo of applique and traditional quilting. Wow.

  49. Debbie says:

I enjoyed Denise’s new dog block today and suggested a name for it.

  50. KT says:

I enjoyed reading everyone’s process posts, but being a dog lover, my favorite was Denise Russart’s. Thanks for the chance to win!

  51. Joan M. says:

My favorite blocks were Emily Herrick’s Sunflower, Denise Russart’s Dog, and Kim Jolly’s “Kimberly’s Hometown Star.” I follow Denise’s blog, and enjoy it.
Thanks for the chance to win the magazine!

  52. Mary C in WA says:

Blog Hopped all but the one blog that isn’t up yet. The dog fabric called Pound hounds gets my Vote since I used that fabric in my Final Challenge on the Design Star contest. I am hoping to win a copy of the magazine to go with my other 3. I’m enjoying the Testing for Vol 5. Thanks for the Blog hop!

  53. Anne Brown says:

I really liked Sue Marsh’s Whistle Pig Blog. So whimsical and fun…

  54. susan says:

Although I was too early for two bloggers to have posts up yet, I liked all the blog posts. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think I managed to narrow it to Meg Hawkey and Debbie and Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop. I just can’t decide between the two, so I call it a first place tie. =)

  55. Maria Kievit says:

Really was spiked by Meg’s blog. However since I don’t like to do too much embroidery, would probably not do any of her blocks. I like the traditional styles more, and really liked the block from Kim Jolly

  56. Kathy B says:

What fun! It would be very difficult to pick just one because I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the creations. Jennifer Eutsler’s flower and turtle block is something that I would like to incorporate into a project. Sue Marsh’s doggie block is adorable as well as Denise Russart’s. Felicity Miller’s block is basic, useful, a good foundation piece. The inspiration from just these few entries is almost overwhelming. I can only imagine what the rest is like! Fantastic!

  57. Sandra says:

I really enjoyed all of the designer’s blogs today. The blog from Meg Hawkey was awesome. She had giveways and make you use your brain for a word puzzle. That was harder than you think. I had a great time and look forward to the Quiltmaker’s 1oo Blocks Volume 4 with more ideas to come.

    Sandi from Sonora, CA

  58. Angie says:

I’m still smiling from Sonja’s lil’ monkey. All of them were great!

  59. Jennifer says:

I really liked Denise Russart’s and June Dudley’s (all the z’s in the comments were hilarious!) blogs. I loved so many of the blocks, can’t wait to get the mag and dig in.

  60. Susan says:

    4.Meg Hawkey
I really like the holiday dresdin plate flower!… cute.

  62. Rebecca says:

Oh, so many great blocks! My favourites are the Window Block on the Felicity blog and the Lil Monkey block on the Artisania blog.
    ourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com

  63. Candy in MI says:

It is hard to choose a favorite among so many great sites! To narrow down my list, I would have to choose #1, then #13, then # 5.

  64. Oh my, are you really going to make me choose just one? I love all of them!! The star! the sunflower! the dog! Oh my! I’ve gotten back into embroidery recently and loved reading Meg’s post… so if it has to be one, I’ll choose her today. Thanks for the fun!

  65. Gill says:

    I love #1 – Sonja’s block!
Thanks for another great 100 Blocks tour!

  66. Barb J says:

Choosing just one is soooo difficult! But I am going to have to choose Jane Dudley’s post. I was really interested to read about her thought process as she chose which fabrics to use. It gave me some ideas to use when I get “stuck”!

  67. Olivia Drake says:

I liked Felicity Miller! Always room for tea and more!!

  68. LJ says:

I enjoyed seeing all the talented people you are featuring today. A couple didn’t show their block but that makes me anxious to see a copy of the magazine. My all time favorite was June’s block with the pinwheels mostly because she spent so much time ‘teaching’. The other blogs/sites that gave me a look into their own creative process were the ones I enjoyed the best

  69. Barb Colvin says:

I really enjoyed Meg Hawkey’s blog–who can resist a puzzle. Then there was the cute frame block by Sue Marsh!

  70. Mary Winegar says:

Like the block that Meg Hawkey did. Love the idea of needle work in the block too.

  71. Regina says:

Jane Dudley’s post on the process was the best – though all the blocks I saw today have my creative wheels turning and I can’t wait to get my copy!!!

  72. Susie McKinney says:

I enjoyed many of the blogs and blocks, but my favorite block is The Balancing Act by Denise Russart! I love my fur baby and this block is just precious.

  73. sandra says:

WHY do I have to CHOSE ?? Fat Quarter BUT I still love them ALL

  74. Linda says:

While all of the blocks are great, I really like the block by June Dudley. This is such a versatile block and I can just see it in Christmas fabrics. Now to just find the time to make the block into a quilt.

  75. Tamsyn says:

Denise Russart and her fabulous pups are my fav.

  76. wordygirl says:

Must I choose just one? The blocks I’m most likely to make are the animal-related ones, such as Denise’s or Sonja’s, since I’m making quilts for my nephews these days. But Meg’s block is the one I’d love to have made for me!

  77. Helen Bowie says:

Love all of them, have to choose one so it will have to be…..
Denise Russart–I just adore her dog block sew cute!
    Thanks

  78. Vivian says:

I love the merry merry block the most, but balancing act is cute too

  80. Sue Bennett says:

I just love Jeremy Giraffe. It is so cute.

  81. Danielle says:

My favorite site that I visited today was for Meg Hawkey. I love her patterns and the show and tells. Very awesome.

  82. Judy says:

I loved all the blogs as I was not familiar with any of them. Thank you for introducing them to me. Currently I am being drawn to all things Victorian so would have to choose Victoriana Quilt Designs as my favorite.

  83. Suzanne Havlicek says:

I love it all…home recently disabled and always looking for new ideas for my sewing…..

  84. Kay Ahr says:

Whistlepig!! Love the purple background and the zany animals on the homepage. And Lulubelle is lovely. Anytime an Internet friend wants paper-piecing directions, I’ll send her to Artisania. Me? I’m the Queen of Paper-Piecing in my old neighborhood! Loved Emily Hettrick’s explanation about how she “chose” her block to send for consideration in the magazine. ‘Twas serendipity! Couldn’t figure out why Benita Skinner’s name sounded familiar in your list — love all her charts and calculators at Victorian Designs. and Janice Averill reminded me of that Serendipity feature new in EQ7. Must play there for a while today! Oh my, guess I can’t make up my mind which one I liked best.

  85. Jan says:

Wow, that’s a tough choice. I think I like Jane Dudley’s blog when she was showing the different options she was entertaining for her pinwheels. Tough choice the whimsical dogs were great too.

    http://www.wpcreek.blogspot.com/

All of the blogs were terrific, but I adore Sonja’s Little Monkey, so her blog takes the cake for me. With a little boy of my own who loves monkey’s, I think he would love it made into pillow.

I love the dog quilt idea and it’s inspired me, I think i’ll try and work up something for Christmas next year when our local dog rescue organization has a holiday art auction to raise money to help rescue shelter dogs and help provide vet care for folks who are having trouble affording it.
Thanks for doing all this and getting new ideas out there to help people like me who really need some inspiration lately ;)

  102. Nancy Sue says:

I love Sue Marsh’s block and the comical fabric she used, but I love reading the comments to June Dudley’s post as everyone is using z’s as though they are equal in points in scrabble, to the points in a game of Angry Birds.

  103. Shannon says:

Well tha is a toss up flor the last two. I liked both of them I am excited to see another issue of the magazine!!
