see any when I looked at part one of the directions. Thanks.

  82. Tara A says:

I love the Christmas colors and the blues. I think I’d like to try one similar to the sapphire but with purples.

I have a brown – turquoise – lime focal fabric that would be perfect for Dozens of Daisies! Ok, I am off to find some matching fabric in my stash. Trying to catch up with your Back to School Party and Sew along – and hopefully soon this will be another beautiful donation quilt!

  86. Judy Walden says:

Love the daisy pattern in blue. It’s a feel good calming look.

  87. Heather Seibel says:

I love the Clothworks collection colours (and my mother would absolutely love this quilt in blues!), but since I’m using stash (at least for now), I’m going to go with a variety of purples and greens for this quilt, with a little splash of yellow for the daisies. Go bold!

  88. PJ says:

I want to make this quilt with white daisy petals on a light but bright background of pinks, yellows & blues with maybe a little green to match my wedding bouquet.

  89. Caralyn Turner says:

I love brights and would use:
Large border: a geometrical scramble print consisting of violet, orange, magenta, bright medium green and a speck of white.
    Inner border: white
Block 1: tonal light orange, light med green tiny print and the 3 1/2 X 6″ medium violet. .Inner 9 patch – a mixture of same fabrics
    Block 2: 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 tonal violet, 3 1/2 X 6″ white with tiny bit of green. 6 X6 of large border print. Daisy’s a dark purple. It’ll make a bold and active top.

  90. Jeanine says:

I like all the color combinations. I am leaning toward black and white prints with yellow, red and green accents. I hope I am lucky.

  91. Sheri says:

I think that the quilt would look very nice in white, yellow and navy. Have to look in stash to see what I have.

  92. MarciaW says:

Like the Sapphire fabrics from Clothworks and would add some white and yellow to simulate actual daisies. So, the color scheme would be the blues, some white, some mellow yellow, and a backing with lovely aquas. That feels good to me!

  93. Marilyn says:

This would so great in so many different combinations! Right now I’m thinking red, orange, pink and white

  94. Judy says:

I have lots of fabric in my stash so I think the quilt will be made of misc bright fabrics.

  95. Mary Spencer says:

I am choosing fall colors. Green, orange and cream.

  96. Lyn says:

Black and white, with sassy pink and a splash of lime.

  98. jan bosscher says:

I’m thinking mostly greens………..with some cream and browns thrown in.

  99. Sharon says:

What a cute quilt! I don’t think you could go wrong with any color combination. Or theme. Before I saw Clothworks’ quilt, I was thinking Halloween, Christmas, or even my collection of Japanese prints. Love the sort of Bohemian look of this one.

  100. Couldn’t get to the computer on the 8th. so am playing catch up today. I’m sewing my “Dozens of Daisies” using a lovely white daisy print with several gorgeous greens, yellows & a touch of light brown. I’ll donate this to my P.E.O. group as a raffle item for fund raising…daisies happen to be their flower of choice and should be very appropriate. Our funds are used for scholarships for women working on furthering their education in college so it is for a wonderful cause. Thanks for the opportunity to win the fabric.

  101. Lucinda Fenske says:

Since it has the theme of daisies, I’m thinking white petals, yellow in center blocks, perhaps with green or black accent fabrics, maybe both!

  102. Ray J says:

I just found this fun quilt-to-make quilt. Altho it’s called Dozens of Daisies, I think I’ll call mine Dozens of Flowers and use a black/red/white/green floral with beautiful roses printed on it for my focus fabric – used as the border. I will pull colors from this for my other fabrics. The petals will be red.

  103. Pat V. says:

My color choices would be red, pink, blue, white and green.

  104. Helen says:

I want to do a Christmas theme quilt! So am using red, green and black.

  105. Carol says:

I can see this quilt in bright yellow, black, and white. Very striking! I have a piece of black fabric with white daisies (yellow centers) on it. I think that would be the 6″ squares and other yellows, blacks, and white would work around that.

  106. Joanne Barry says:

When I looked at the fabric suggestions I thought of using some nice soft warm rose colours with soft pinks & a light green, but when I went thru my fabric stash I was drawn to a print with blues & olive greens in. I found some lovely co-ordinating light & mid blues & light & dark olive greens which I think will look great. I am still considering the rose colours, so I might just have to make two!

  107. Joanne Barry says:

I like Carols comments about daisies, I have some daisy fabric somewhere so I may have to think about that one too! I hope that Carol can post a pic of hers.

  108. Deb says:

I’d pick purple, green, white, yellow, and pink.

  109. allgoodthings says:

I am currently on a red, white and black kick. I am hoping that I chose well.

  110. Henria O. says:

I’m really liking the combination of yellow, black and gray right now. That would be my pick. Michael Miller has a really great Citron gray collection right now.

  111. Cari Marshall says:

I bought 1/2 pieces of some brown/pink/turquoise paisley, dots, and striped fabrics. I am going to make them work for the 5/8 pieces needed by “scrapping” the pattern up a bit or just cutting down the number of squares… not sure yet. Love the pattern!

  112. Nora Lee Condon says:

So many different colors could be used with this pattern, so no two quilts would look the same!

  114. Lisa says:

There are so many possibilities with this design ~ how about coral, yellow and green?

  115. Lynn Telke says:

This quilt would be great in a purple and green color scheme with white petals
    and a touch of yellow.
