Back to School Party: Planning Chart

We’re so excited about the Back to School Party beginning this Thursday, Sept. 8! You’re invited to visit Quilty Pleasures for a free pattern in bite-sized morsels and then to sew along with us and other QM readers on the throw-size quilt called Dozens of Daisies. Each day will be full of fun.

To help you plan your quilt, QM Graphic Designer Denise Starck created a handy chart which can be downloaded and printed here for your convenience:

About Diane Harris

I'm an editor for Quiltmaker magazine in Golden, Colorado, USA. For six years, I wrote pattern instructions, product reviews and how-to articles. Then I spent four years as QM's Interactive Editor, working to generate much of our online content. Now I'm back to patterns and how-tos, which is a great fit for me. I still love writing about quilt-related topics for Quilty Pleasures, and I always have my finger on the pulse of the quilting world. I teach a variety of quilt classes and give guild programs, too. OK, I couldn’t stand it. I shopped my stash for black and white fabrics I’ve been collecting with no specific project in mind. Mine is nearly all pieced. Be careful with placement of values. I had to do some reverse sewing!
