No!! I haven’t read any of her books but have heard a lot about them, would love to win this, thanks for the chance
The Runaway Quilt and The Sugar Camp quilt were my two favorites. I can’t wait to read this one!
I haven’t read any of her books yet… I have a list of books to read a mile long, and that interferes with quilting! My favorite book ever is probably God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, but I really love historical fiction. Thanks for the giveaway!
Love her books.
Am in the process of reading her books and love them all!
I love her books! I haven’t read them all yet, but am working my way through the serious…I love the historical ones best…The Runaway Quilter is my favorite so far! I’d absolutely love to have an autographed copy of this new book…I don’t own it yet!
Read it and all the rest. Can hardly wait for the next one. I would love to have another copy to give away.
I have read must of her books the first few are my favorite enjoyed all of them. Have the new book on hold at the library waiting to read it.
I have read all but this book!!!!!!!!
Oh wow!! I’ve read all of her books and couldn’t tell you which one is my favorite–it’s just too hard!
I’m anxiously awaiting her next one.
I am currently taking a sampler class to learn quilting. The color packet that is mine is the civil war. I am so fasinated by the history. A lady in class told me last week about this author and the books. I am so excited to start reading them!
I’ve read all of Jennifer’s books and love them all. I enjoy her characters and her mixing of history and fiction.
Love her books, but haven’t read this one. I love civil war quilts!
Ohhh wonderful my friends and I have read all of her book and count down till the next one comes out. I’m reading this one now just got it. It was my turn to read it last. I got to read her last one first.
I love to read, especially quilting stories. I have many favorites and haven’t met a book I didn’t like. Would love to add this book to my library. Thank you for doing this.
Have only read some of her books – would love this one.
The very first one is still my favorite.
I have read a few – I think the Sugar Camp Quilt was my favorite, too.
I’ve read all but this one. Need to get it read. Just love this series.
I love her books. I have read them all(except this one) and use them for my inspiration. I am in the process of writing a novel and hope to be as successful as Jennifer!!!!
No!! I haven’t read any of her books but have heard a lot about them, would love to win this, thanks for the chance.
My guilty pleasure is anything Anne Rice.
Haven’t read any of her books yet – have been looking for them in stores here in SA but can’t find any. Am planning on ordering some online. Can’t think of my alltime favorite book ?
Looking forward to reading these books on the beach this summer as I can’t quilt on the beach! Love to read about Civil War quilts. Would be so excited to win this book..Thank you for the chance. Debbie
I won one of the first 100 blocks and I loved the block. Finally made a quilt and have lots of compliments on it. Can’t wait to see the new book coming out in a few days.
No, I have not. But would tlove read one and maybe do a quilt.
I love her books, and probably love the first one the absolute best. Thank you for the opportunity
Oh, I LOVE Jennifer Chiaverini’s books!! Discovered them just when the first one (Quilter’s Apprentice) was out and I was a new quilter too and now I can hardly wait for any new one that comes! I am usually the first one on the list to take it out of the library!
Then I also have to have them all in MY library of course…But don’t have the last one yet!
For me, being newly naturalized American, Jennifer’s books were a beautiful window into American history, traditions, soul of American women – through my quilting and her books, I felt instantly at home here.
The favorite one – that is really hard, since I love them all! Round Robin was an early favorite, then I really loved reading The Quilter’s Legacy, The Lost Quilter…Aloha Quilt – told you, it is very hard to pick the favorite!
I’ve read them all! Having gone through a tough divorce, I especially identified with The Aloha Quilt, and now I have Hawaii fever! It’s in first place on my bucket list!
I have only read one so i can’t say that’s its my favorite yet.
I would love to read another one though.
My all-tine favorite book would be any by Karen Kingsbury.
I have almost the whole collection of Elm Creek Quilts, but I have only read the first two books in the series, so far. I plan on continuing my collection, and winning this one would certainly help!
I have never read her books, but I am intrigued by her title. I am an amateur genealogist, and currently researching an ancestor who likely died in a civl war battle.
I’ve read quite a few of her books – Runaway Quilt is my fav.
Thanks
I have read her first one, Quilter’s Apprentice. It was great! I’ve got to get busy and read her others.
I’ve never read one of her books, but love the historical aspect of quilting. Looks like a good read.
i still like the original book the best.
Love her books. Really enjoyed The Lost Quilter.
I read I think the first 4 or 5 of them one after another a couple of years ago. I felt like part of Sylvia’s family and dreamed of moving to their place. I can’t for the life of me remember names though, but then again I don’t remember much from yesterday either! (LOL) Looking forward to reading more of her work.
I have read a few (limited by what my library carries) – enjoyed them all.
I have read all her books and have the latest on the nightstand right now. Thankfully I’ve trained my local library to order her books as soon as they hit the shelves. I’m only the second one to check it out, when usually I’m the first! Would love to have a copy to keep for myself!
I have just heard of the books and am anxious for my daughter’s wedding to be done so I can dive in. My favorite all time book is Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. I read it on my own one high school summer and have remembered the vivid images from then on.
I love her books. I have read everyone with the exception of this one. My favorite was the Run Away Quilt. I actually read it twice I enjoyed it so much. I can’t remember which one, but one of the books I got so upset when I was reading it, it was like I was there, and I threw the book down. Well, naturally I didn’t leave it tossed down because I had to fine out how it came out. But, I was just so engrossed int he book that it was like someone was offending my best friend. I have even made one of the quilts out of one of her first quilt book. I would love to win this one and then share with all my quilting friends to read as well.
Have read several of her books, loved the quilters apprentice, the Runaway Quilt. Would especially love to see her books available for my Kindle and other E formats. Thanks for enjoyable books
Sally
Her first was probably my favorite because it hooked me in to the next. Have not read the last two and look forward to doing just that.
I’ve read several of her books and would love an autographed copy of one!
I have been able to read only a few of Jennifer’s books so far and the quilter’s apprentice is my favorite so far.
I have not read any of her books but I can’t wait to make her block! And if I win this book then I will look forward to reading that!
Great reads for the bedside table.
oh my! YES I LOVE THE ELM CREEK BOOKS! My fave? I’ve read the first 6 books of the series and as I am reading each one, I think “This is my favorite!”, then I start reading the next! So for now, The Master Quilter is my fave! I would love to have any of the books autographed by Jennifer! Thanks for hosting this give-away. Cindy in Mississippi
The Runaway Quilter is one of my favorites! Love all of the books and hope to read through more in future!
I haven’t read any of her books! my favourite all time read is The Time Travellers ‘ Wife!!
I would enjoy reading Jennifer’s new book:) One of my favorites of the past would be The Runaway quilter. G’Day!!
I haven’t read any of these books. My all time favorite is probably To Kill a Mockingbird. One I just read, The Help, ranks right up there though!
I have read all Jennifer’s books, many times. Love them all, and can’t wait for the next, the Wedding Quilt. The Union Quilters was a great story, when I saw pictures from Gettysburg and the Civil War soon after, it really made a difference in how I viewed the pictures.
I have read all of her books except the last one. It’s hard to pick a favorite, they are all good. I would love to have an autographed copy of her book.
Yes! I have read several of Jennifer’s books, and passed many along to my neighbors, friends and co-workers. I was just at her website today thinking – I would really enjoy reading ‘The Union Quilters’ next!
I’ve read some of her earlier books, but not this current one. Being a fan of history, it is definitely on my “soon to be read” list, especially with so much emphasis on the Civil War.
I’ve read just about all of Jennifer’s books. Hard to decide a favorite. Haven’t read the newest book.
I have a lot of Jennifer’s books, but haven’t had a chance to read them yet. I love quilt history books or quilt fiction books too. One of my favorites is No Time on My Hands by Grace Snyder.
Well, darn it! I have read some of Jennifer’s books, and now cannot think of the titles. I do enjoy her writing!
I love Jennifer Chiaverini’s books! I remember when I stumbled upon The Quilter’s Apprentice and a whole new world opened up to me! My favorite is the Winding Ways book. I would love to win an autographed copy!
I have not read any of Jennifer’s books or any other quilt books, new to quilting but would love to start.
I love Aloha Quilt. Hawaii is my favorite vacation spot. I love all of her books.
Yes! I read all her books! I downloaded the audio of this one, but havent started it. Think it was a mistake to get the audio version, i have all the others, so this would be missing from my collection! My dream is to have a mansion for a quilt retreat!!
That would be a real treat! I have read the first 6 of her books.
I have to order them in England as the bookstores here (The Netherlands) don’t stock them, not even The American Bookstore. I love them!!!!
Love these books. Haven’t ready the latest ones though.
Would love to have this one
Just started reading these books. I would love to win this one. Thank you for the chance.
I haven’t read any yet. I do want to though. I love the era. I would really love to win this book to get me started.
Forgot to mention my favourite: Round Robin, which is also the name of my son.
I enjoyed reading Aloha Quilt. I admire Hawaiian quilts and love the history and tradition–the story brought back such wonderful memories of my youth in Hawaii
I loved the Runaway Quilt. I also have the first book of quilting patterns and have made a quilt from it.
I love the Elm Creek Quilters books. I have read all, but the newest book Union Quilters. My favorite book in her series is Circle of Quilters. Every once in a while I reread the entire series. This series is on my “Comfort Book” list. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve read The Runaway Quilter, which was excellent and also the Aloha Quilt which I really liked since it took place here in my home state! I’ve even bought some of the fabrics from her Aloha quilt range & love them-that’s a project for this year!
I have read ALL of Jennifer’s book but not the Union Quilters. I’m following along with Barbara Brackman’s Material Culture blog doing a quilt block each week to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War so I can’t wait to read this book by Jennifer. Love her characters!
Oops, forgot the favorite. I think my favorite is always the one I”m reading, but I did love The Runaway Quilt. Thanks, Jennifer. Keep writing!
I just read the first book, “The Apprentice.” I can’t wait to read the next one. I really enjoyed the read!
I have read all of her books except fot The Union Quilters. I would love to win it.
I have read the first 5 books and am getting ready to read #6. Love them all, but I think my favorite was the Runaway Quilt. The characters are splendid! Thanks for the chance to win!
Well I can tell you that I have read all of the Elm Creeks series but I cannot recall which is which at the moment. I remember that the Aloha Quilt book inspired me to want to try that type of quilt pattern although not being a great appliquer it might prove difficult. I loved the dynamics of the entire quilt type running the retreat. But, I thought it was awesome that, and her name escapes me, that the owner of the retreat property, the mansion I think they called it, finally allowed herself to love again. Life is too short afterall!
I have not read her book. These blog comments have inspired me to look into her writing. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have read the whole series and my favorite book was the last one – the Aloha Quilt.
I’ve read most of them, I’d love to win a copy of this!
I have read two books of her. The ones who are translated to german. The christmas quilt and the new year’s quilt. i loved both very much! They are so heart warming! Thanks so much for the give away!
I think “Circle of Quilters” has been my favorite, so far.
I have not read any of her books but my friend is reading it right now and she said she loves it and that I should get it and read it also. Thanks for the give away. What a wonderful prize to win
Lisa
I have read 3 of Jennifer’s books, and have enjoyed every one of them. I don’t have this one yet. They make me want to quilt more.
I think I’ve read most of her books. They’re all wonderful. I’d LOVE to win her new book – especially if it’s autographed. Thanks for the opportunity!!
I think I have read all of her books. I can’t say I have a favorite. They are all interesting and have a lot of history which I enjoy- plus quilts! What’s not to love?
I have read some of her Elm Street books and loved them. They were all wonderful. I’d love to win her new book. Thanks for a chance!
I’ve just started in the land of quilting and haven’t read any of her books yet, but have bought them for quilty friends in the past.
I discovered and devoured Jennifer’s books last year when I was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery. I have read them all, including the latest. I don’t have one favourite – I love them all. I just wish I could go to the quilt camp and meet all the Elm Creek Quilters!
I have enjoyed all of Jennifer’s books. My kids have started buying me her books when they want to surprise me!
I have read so many of Jennifer’s books and love them all. I haven’t read her latest so would be an awesome prize! Thanks for the give away.
No, I haven’t read her books, but would love this – Thanks for the chance
I love her books and could not pick a favorite if my life depended on it. I enjoy the way the characters have developed and the historical events in her novels. Thanks for the chance to win a great prize!!
WITHOUT QUESTION -RUNAWAY QUILT
I have read all her new books. They are all good and my favorite is always the newest one that I haven’t read yet. I hope she continues writing books for this series.
I’ve love her books – I’ve read 2, but can’t remember which ones. I do want to get the series…
I have read several of the Elm Creek series and enjoyed them all. I love the mix of history and contemporary fiction. I would love her newest book!
I’ve read them all. Can’t wait to read this one.
I have listened to all her books. I get them on Audiobooks and while I quilt, I listen. I loved them all, but one of my favorites is The Runaway Quilt. I would love to meet the girls at Elm Creek.
I liked all I’ve read but mostly my first one The Quilter’s Apprentice, and am looking forward to her new one due out this this fall The Wedding Quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!
The Aloha Quilt, having read many of the Elm Creek series. This one is great also, I am certain
I really don’t have a favorite – I love them all!
I have gotten so into the civil war since I started making the quilt blocks. I had the book in my hand the other day and then I thought What a great Mothers Day present!
I have only read the Quilter’s Apprentice. I would very much like to read more of Jennifer’s books. Right now I am reading Sandra Brown’s Prayers for Sale–another great book that has quilting and quilters in it.
I’ve read all the books through 2010, on the waiting list for Aloha Quilt at the library. I’d love to have one for my own. My favorite is all of them!!
I love her books, I’ve read most of them although I’m still looking for a couple of them, she draws me in like few authors can, I can’t put them down! Like my house isn’t messy enough just from quilting taking time lol
I Love Jennifer’s books! I’ve purchased and read most of them.
Her books make me smile! the people and situations are so realistic!
I read 4 of Jennifer’s books this winter and my all-time favorite was The Runaway Quilter. She is a very talented writer.
I’ve read all her books and look forward to the latest, but not sure the name of the one I liked the best. They’re all a good read
I really enjoy Jennifer’s books–I would love to go to a quilting retreat with those in the book! I am sitting beside by sister who is in the hospital–I think I will have to get the newest book to read!
I’ve read some of Jennifer’s books and loved them all. Thanks for the chance to win this book. I need to get caught up on the series.
I have read Jennifers books and love the ones with the Elm Creek Quilters best. I’m always excited when a new one comes out.
I have just come home from our annual quilt guild retreat. On Saturday night we had an auction and someone put two of Jennifer’s books on the table and they among the most highest and vocal bidding. It was commented on that we needed more for next year.
Good evening people!!!!!, I’m enjoying this party more each time. Desafortunalely I haven’t read any of her blocks…, crossing fingers I’ll do that someday *hint-hint*. I love, sorry I mean I adore to read quilting books, but sometimes they’re really difficult to find. I love to read romance and historical books (when I don’t have a quilting book in my hands
)
Dang… I’m sooooooooo unpolite… forgot to say thank you so much for sharing the book and thank you for the chance in giving it away to one of us
I am currently reading through the entire series. I enjoy all of them, but think my favorite is the “Circle of Quilters” because I also like to track down the detailed information about things. I was fascinated with the story of the quilt.
I haven’t read Jennifer’s books YET, but I so want to … just don’t know where to start
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could start with this one
As for an all time favorite … that’s so hard to nail down. I love Anne of Green Gables, but liked A Tree Grows in Brooklyn then Loved the whole Harry Potter series … what canI say?
Thank you so much for a chance to win a copy of Jennifer’s book!!
I love Jennifer’s books. I started reading her about 6-months ago and just finished “The New Years Quilt.”
I have purchased the “aloha” fabric but not sure what pattern to use yet. Sylivia’s Bridal Sampler is on my “bucket lost.”
Thanks so much for the blog tour!!!
I really love Jennifer’s books. I like the Elm Creek books because I enjoy following the characters in the books, but I really loved “The Runaway Quilter” because I appreciated how she tied history to the story of Elm Creek.
I have read all of her books, except this one. My favorite is a toss up between “Quilter’s Apprentice” and “The Aloha Quilt”. I can’t wait to read this one. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have read most of Jennifer’s books and have many in my quilt library. Love them all and can’t really choose a favorite.
Would love to win the latest!
I love Jennifer’s books. I’ve read most all of them. And, I can’t possibly pick a favorite. I love the historic ones and the comtemporary ones. After reading the first I was hooked, I bought several more, got several for my birthday, and hope to get the last few this birthday!!!! It’s difficult to decide whether spend time quilting or reading!!!!!
I mostly read non-fiction books (nerdy, I know) and one of my all-time favorites is called “The Goal” which I first read when I was in college. I think these quilting novels would really appeal to my MIL who reads mostly fiction. I”d love to win one and give it to her. I’m loving the blog tour, and thanks for all the chances to win!
I have not read any of her books and really had NO idea that she actually quilts! What a fabulous life!!
My favorite book is The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. The book is 10X better than the movie!
I have read many – but not all! of Jennifer’s books. My favorite so far was Runaway Quilter. I do like historical fiction! I also like following the ongoing story of the Elm Creek Quilters.
I’ve only read one and can’t remember the title but I’m definitely hooked!!!
I haven’t read any but would love this book. Not sure what category you mean by best book we’ve ever read, but the Lord of the Rings trilogy ranks right up there.
Thanks for the opportunity!

Actually, I credit “The Quilter’s Apprentice” with getting this sewer to consider quilting. Having found a “home” quilt shop, I have since read all of her books and have loved all of them for different reasons. I love the different historical threads and family “sagas.” “The Union Quilters” was finely written, although perhaps the hardest emotionally to read. I think she captured the day to day life of soldier and family realistically and simply–which made it more powerful. I don’t own this book yet; the library helped me out here.
I just love Jennifer Chiaverini’s quilt inspired books!! I discovered the Quilter’s Apprentice quite by accident in a book store many years ago when I first started quilting. It’s my favorite one, but that doesn’t mean that the others aren’t also as I’m reading them. But I’ve reread that one several times. Just love the idea of a big old retreat house just for quilters!!
I have read every one of Jennifer’s novels and enjoy them so much. I got hooked when I received a book with the first three
all in one. I have not read the newest and would love to win it!
I never read or heard about her books, so I must read them now!
I couldn’t tell only a name of a book but I must say “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë is one of my favourite books.
I’ve read them all except this last one. My favorite was Runaway Quilter.
Would love to read her work. Have heard good things about her.
I have read 2 of her books and enjoy them tremendously. thanks for the opportunity to win another one.
Marge
I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t read any of the books–yet! I do have many of them in my pile of “to be read” books, so I will get to them someday soon. Karen in Breezy Point
I have read all of Jennifer’s books. They are all in my library. I’ve enjoyed them all but I guess if I have to pick a favorite I’d say her first, The Quilter’s Apprentice. Thanks for the chance to win!!
I don’t believe I’ve read any of her books. Love to read and her book sound great Thanks for the chance to win it. Lover Debbie Macomber’s books.
I have not read any of Jennifer’s books YET!!! But it is on my SUMMER to do list!!! I am a longarm quilter and have quilted for years. My mom has been telling me to read these boooooks…so I could start right now if someone could give me an excused absent note for college…hahah.
I have read several of her books. They are fantastic. My favorite so far is–I think the title was, “A Quilter’s Legacy.” I would love to win her newest book.
I have read all of Jennifer’s books except for Aloha Quilt – which I have but haven’t read yet – and her new Union Quilters. Love each and every one!
Love all of Jennifer’s books. Just read “The Aloha Quilt” and it was wonderful, of course. I don’t know if I can pick just one, but I relaly liked “The Sugar Camp Quilt” book. It was such a difficult time in history. There are still a few I haven’t read, but will. & can’t wait.
OOOOH This book is on my list. . .
I Haven’t read any of Jennifer’s books, but I have read “This Old Quilt” edited by Margret Aldrich. It was a lot of fun to read, too.
Sounds like a great book! Would love to read it! Just getting into quilting in Africa! My all time favorite book is the Bible!
I read 4 or 5 of Jennifer’s books about 10 years ago and loved them! I can’t even remember the titles but I’ve been thinking about reading them again.
I love Jennifer’s books! My local Bernina store, Dave’s Bernina, UT, is hosting a block of the month club from “Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler” so I joined and we’re reading the books and sewing blocks for a quilt for a year! So excited. I’ve read Apprentice, Round Robin, Cross-Country, Master-Quilter, Runaway Quilt, Sugar-Camp quilt (which I believe you need to read Runaway and Sugar Camp back-to back), Legacy, and Christmas Quilt. I love them all and can’t wait to read more! It’s so nice to read well-written, engaging novels about topics that are near and dear to my heart (one of my hobbies and passions), and the stories of lives of women. I love Debbie’s “mama-bear” story from “Cross-Country”. And I was outraged along with Sylvia when someone cut up her mother’s quilt to make a vest! I want to make some of the block on the Christmas quilt!
I’ve only read “The Quilter’s Apprentice” so far, but I enjoyed it enough to read more of her series!!
My favorite book so far is Runaway Quilt. But each book stands alone and successfully transports me to another world every time. I am working my way through all of Jennifer’s books and loving it.
I would love to read Jennifer’s books, but they aren’t available for my e-reader in Canada yet ;(. One of these days, I hope!
I have read them all except for this one and the one before that. They are all great reads!
Just started my first book. So far I like it very much. Will read more.

I can’t say that I have a favorite because I love everyone of them. Reading and Quilting are my favorite things to do besided playing with my grandsons. Thanks for doing the drawing. Deb A
I have and love Jennifer’s books. I just felt that I was there in her retreats, enjoying all that was going on. Sylvia is a sweetie. I do have each one on my shelf. I would be more that happy to share with someone if they can’t find them. Each book is a special read. To say which is my favorite wouldn’t be fair, they are ALL Great. Looking forward to reading her latest.
I have only read the Aloha Quilt but would now like to read the rest of the series…in order.
Plus I would get lots more quilt ideas!
I’ve read a few of her books and I really liked The Lost Quilter. Thanks for the chance to win her new book!!

I haven’t read any of her books, but I’d love to! My favorite book of all time would have to be Les Miserables. Not anything crafty, but a great story regardless…
I haven’t read any of Jennifer’s books, but I’ve heard great things about them. I have Sylvia’s Briadal Sampler book, but haven’t made any blocks from it yet. My favorite book of all time is The Shining by Stephen King. It scared the bejesus out of me!
I remember reading Winnie The Pooh in the second grade that was alot of reading for me back then. It was a hardcover book that was red. I don’t remember which Winnie The Pooh it was but loved it and would like to find one now.
Oh I love Jennifer’s books. I own all her books except this one. My favorite is quilter’s apprentive and the Runaway quilt. I’ve read quilter’s apprentice so many times. I think it’s because I relate to so many parts of the story and just love it. Thanks for the chance to win.
I have read (and reread!) and loved The Runaway Quilt and The Sugar Camp Quilt. What a great give-away; pick me, pick me!:)

Thanks for the chance to win!
I’ve read all of Jennifer’s books. I love the quilting and history I’ve learned in her stories.
Iv’e never read any of her books yet. I remember reading Winnie The Pooh in the second grade that was a lot of reading for me back then. It was a hardcover book that was red. I don’t remember which Winnie The Pooh it was but loved it and would like to find one now.
The very first book and The Runaway Quilt were my favorites.
My favorite was her first book, The Quilter’s Apprentice. It was the first fiction book I’d read that featured quilting and I really enjoyed it.
Great books – one sister that isn’t a quilter got me started and now I’ve gotten another sister and sister-in-law into reading them. I especially enjoyed Aloha Quilter – would love to do a Hawaiian quilt. I’m looking forward to reading her new book and it would be very special to win an autographed copy.
I have not read any of Jennifer’s books. Time to check them out, I’d say! My favorite book of all-time? Difficult question, but I’ll go with War and Remembrance by Herman Wouk. I’ve read it and its prequel, The Winds of War, multiple times.
I loved the Runaway Quilt and would love to read this new one! thanks!
I have not read any of her books, but I plan on it and thanks for such a great giveaway!
I’ve read many of the books and so far, The Runaway Quilt, is the best. It doesn’t matter whether you read the books out of sequence either. thank you for the chance to win a copy of the newest book.
My favorite is the Aloha Quilt, but I also loved Circle of Quilters. I love reading and I always enjoy Jennifer’s books.
I have read all her books. Great series. My favorite is Circle of Quilters.
I have read (and own) all of them apart from this one. I love them all. But my favourites would probably be The Aloha Quilt Circle of Quilters, and also the Runaway Quilt.
Yes, I’ve read quite a few. My favorite is The Aloha Quilt…the story set in Hawaii was a great read and made me long for palm trees!
I have read all of Jennifer’s books except the new one. I am not a reader, but couldn’t put her books down, They are such good reads. Love them all, but favorite is Aloha Quilt. Would love to win the new book. My Aloha Quilt book is autographed . Jennifer is a very lovely lady.
All of her books are great but I guess my favorite would be “The Quilter’s Apprentice” followed closely by “The Runaway Quilt”
Love her have all her books except the newest one. Have read them several times. She a great writer Would love to own an autographed book.
I do have a signiture block from a swap in which is was wonderful enough to0 sign is ended up signing 24 block centers it was a sirprise and a thrill to recieve
I have read this whole series!! I love love love love her books!! I can not wait to read this new one!!
I only got to read the first 4 because I lived out of the country. Having reading material in English was such a treat and that the books were about quilts was wonderful. We are now back in the USA and apparently I need to get caught up on her books. Maybe I’d go with Runaway Quilt. A real thought provoker.
Loved her first one the most.
I have all of Jennifer’s Elm Creek books. I was hooked with the first book. I always think the most recent one is the best – until the next one comes out and then it’s my new “best”.
I have read every one of her books. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer and her mother in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I love the historical content that is always present and the wholesomeness of the reading material. My two favorites were The Master Quilter and The Lost Quilter.
I’ve read all of the Elm Creek books, but my favorite was The Runaway Quilt. I love the ones that go back in history. The stories are great and you learn something, too.
I love Jennifers’ books! Haven’t read all of them yet but loved Quilters Apprentice, Runaway Quilt and Sugar Camp Quilters! I love to quilt and also love reading and combining the two makes me very happy!
I have read all except the Union Quilters. My favorite was the first one – when everything was coming together and I loved all the descriptions of the mansion. I also suddenly find myself in need of making a Hawaiian Quilt.
I have read all of Jennifer’s books and my favorites are The Sugar Camp Quilt (my first read) and the Quilters Apprentice. I have a friend who I shared these books with and she has now read all of them, too. Looking forward to the new book!
Just finished the Aloha Quilter so I am getting ready to buy this one. I LOVE these books. I don’t know if I have a favorite. I really enjoy the ones based in the present.
I would love to have an autographed copy of one of Jennifer’s books! Have not read this one yet, but looking forward to it!
I am not a fiction reader but started reading Jennifer’s books and am currently on her 8th one, going in order. I first heard about Jennifer through Country Woman magazine. All her stories that I’ve read so far are decent and thought provoking! It’s interesting how she uses different writing styles in each book. They all have been fascinating but the historical ones are my favorites; Runnaway and Sugar Camp. I’m very much looking forward to reading The Union Quilters!
I have truly enjoyed the 5 books that I have read so far. Beautifully written and I cannot wait to get home from work to read more. These stories have also inspired me to learn how to quilt. I have been a sewer for many years and now I shall learn how to quilt.
I have read them all, I like the Circle of Quilters!
I have only read one of her books which I am reading now. Would like to own more of her books especially this one.
I have only read one of Jennifer’s book which I am reading now. Would like to own more especially this one.
The Runaway Quilt was my favorite, but I liked them all much and look forward to each new book.
I got to meet Jennifer in February when she was touring. I bought two copies of this book – one for my mom, one for my mother-in-law. I didn’t get one for myself! But hope to read it soon
I have read many of her books. I like the books that focus on the quilting retreat and the friends that put it together the best, but they are all good. Thanks for the chance to win!
I am a huge fan of Elm Creek Quilts Novels! To choose a favorite is very hard but after much thought I have decided that “The Sugar Camp Quilt” wins hands down. Beginning in 1849, it brings to life the history of quilting and the struggles to preserve it’s strong ties with the history surrounding Elm Creek.
Not only do you get to know the town but the meaning behind the quilts. Each quilt holds a special meaning to it’s owner but in this book it plays an important part in history.
Thanks Jennifer for creating a hero for every quilters dream project.
I’ve read all the books in the Elm Creek Quilts series. I have to admit – I had never heard of the series or Jennifer….then I heard she was going to be at our Project Linus Institute this summer. I was just going to read a couple so I had some idea of what it is all about…but I’ve read, and enjoyed them all! A favorite is so hard to pick. I’ve loved Joanna’s stories because of her strength, I loved Circle of Quilters for the great job interview tip …and for the laugh out loud when the Cheerio was found in the hair AFTER the interview.
Oh My Gosh, I love all of the Elm Creek Quilts books. I started with the Runaway Quilt, out of order, but I didn’t care! Have read them all, but am finishing the Union Quilters right now.
I have read most of Jennifer’s books and have enjoyed them all. I like the historical ones and the ones that focus on Sylvia’s family history and ongoing Quilt Camps. The last one I read in the series was “A Quilter’s Holiday”. It is really hard to pick a favorite! I have tried to read them in the order they were written and get them from the local library. I am looking forward to reading the new one.
OOPS forgot to put my favorite. Hard to choose, probably
The Winding Ways Quilt
I loved Round Robin! Great history detail.
I have been reading about my friends in Elm Creek since the first book came out. O have all of them.!I love the way Jennifer brings them to life. I have loss count of how many times I have reread all of them.
In Paducah last week at the aqs quilt show, Istayed in a bed and brekfast with all quilters. Iwas thrilled that it was somewhat close to an elem creek retreat.
thank you so much Jennifer for this gift. My favorite one is the very first book. God bless
I’ve read all of Jennifer’s books, they are wonderful and also inspire me to create something of such beauty. I love the friendship that is linked through quilting, they are wonderful characters and you really feel a bond with them.
I have not read any as of yet…but have been searching for them, and so far no luck, but really want to read them, they sound so good…I would love to add Jennifer to my list of favorite authors, so really hope I win
but I will keep looking as well!!
Love all her books, but my favorite is the one that started it all – The Quilter’s Apprentice. Thanks for the chance to win her most recent book.
My favorite book was The Quilter’s Legacy. I love the characters and the meaning of Sylvia’s lost and later found quilts.
I have read all of Jennifer’s books. It is difficult to pick a favorite because all make for excellent reading. However, having to select only one, it would have to be The Master Quilter because it has opened to me a world of online quilters based upon Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler for that book. I have learned so much about quilting from Jennifer’s quilt books and the support groups that are online. Although Jennifer’s books are fictional, the information that she incorporates in her storyline is often historical and always accurate. Jennifer is definitely my favorite author.
I believe I’ve read all of her books, but my favorite would have to be The Runaway Quilter.
Thanks!
Toni

I love the Sugar Camp Quilt! I have read all of her books but slavery issues are close to my heart. I have not read The Union Quilters but I am looking forward to winning it…hint, hint!!
Loved all her books but not too thrilled with this one
I have read all of the books but the Union Quilters…… My favorite is always the newest one…. Everytime I think I have a favorite there she goes writing a better one….. I would love to pick up the phone and call any of the Elm Creek Quilters just to chat or get help BUT better yet would be to go visit them…. Why does she have to make them soooooo real.
I have read ALL of her books!!! I loved every one of them, but would have to say that The Aloha Quilt is my favorite!! It was a great story and I am dying to make my own Hawaiian quilt!!
The summer of 2009 my sister recommended the Elm Creek Quilts to me. I started with The Quilters Apprentice and have read all of the books in order. My very favorites are the Runaway Quilt and The Lost Quilter. It took me just 6 months to read all of Jennifer’s first 15 books. These books have been by far my favorite reads!!
I am so excited to see the new book of Jennifer’s. I have read every one of her books and it is so hard to pick a favorite. If I had to pick a favorite I would have to say the very first book because it started this wonderful journey for the Elm Creek Quilters. Thanks for the giveaway and I can’t wait to read this next book!
I haven’t read any of her books…yet. I can’t say I have a favorite book, as I think my library rivals a small town collection *gulp*. LOVE the arts!
I read the first 5, three of them were in one volume. I read all of them in a very short period of time. I couldn’t tell you which was my favorite, I really enjoyed reading all of them.
I am a huge fan of Jennifer’s books. I am currently re-”reading” all of them by listening to them on audiobooks. I LOVE sewing and listening at the same time. It’s like quilt nirvana!!! Anyway, I just can’t choose my favorite, but I haven’t had a chance to read either The Aloha Quilt or The Union Quilters. But that’s about to change whether I win or not. Thank you for this giveaway!
I have not read the featured book yet. My all time favorite is Dumas’ Count of Monte Christo.
I have read all of her books and love them all. Too many to pick a favorite. I love the historical fiction ones and enjoy more the ones at Elm Creek with the retreats. Love the fellowship. Anyway would love to win this one especially with the autograph.
I’ve read most of the Elm Creek Quilt books. My favorite is The Quilter’s Legacy.
I have read and I own all of Jennifer’s books except for The Union Quilters! It’s not possible to pick a favorite! The most recent one is always the best. It would be great to win this book in order to keep up my collection. Thanks for counting me in.
I have read all of them up through The Quilters kitchen. I love them all and in a way think of them all combined as one very big book because they all tie in together
I love, love, love ALL of the Elm Creek books. I have read all of them and am on the 4th chapter of The Union Quilters. (Just got it from the library) . I get so excited when a new book comes out. I hope the series never ends…Keep up the good work Jennifer. Thanks for keeping me so interested in your books.
I haven’t read any of Jennifer’s books, but I’d like to win one to try! My favorite book to date is “Outlander” by Dianna Gabaldon. I’ve read all of the series and can’t wait for the next installment next year.
I have read ALL of Jennifer’s books. The favorite?…..The Runaway Quilt, the Lost Quilter and the Union Quilters. I love history especially Civil War and Jennifer did a great job with the Historical fiction. However, her Elm Creek retreat books inspired me to organize retreats for our area
I have read all her books, just finished this one
Thats a hard choice to pick out which one is my fave, I love all the books. Down to 2 books I love The Aloha Quilt, because I love Maui!! Made me want to go back! Also, inspired me to want to learn to hand appliqué a wall quilt of my own. The other one is The Quilters kitchen, to finally have the recipes from all the books. I cant wait to make the apple strudel one day on Christmas morning. My next goal to try and do Sylvia’s quilt. I think Jennifer is a very good writer, you get lost in the story from the first chapter no matter which book you pick up and start reading. I know I am addicted!! I am ready for her next. I can tell shes got many more for us to read.
I have read five of the Elm Creek books—so far. My favorite is the Quilter’s Homecoming. I really enjoy the history of these books….and of course, the quilting!
I own and have read all of Jennifer’s books. About half of them have been signed by her. I shlupped them to a reading in Menomonee Falls, WI several years back. I love them all, but if I had to choose, it would have to be The Quilters Homecoming or The Runaway Quilt. Love the historical settings she uses and I can’t wait to read The Union Quilters. This would be a great giveaway to receive. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
I have read all of her books and love each one. My favorite was A quilters Holiday but I also really enjoyed the Aloha Quilters. I have loved learning the stories of Sylvia’s friend and family and the history of the quilts.
I havthose about quilting.e read nearly all of her books. I especially love
Love her books and have read most of them. My favorites are The Quilter’s Apprentice and Circle of Friends. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
I amusually not a reader unless it is a quilt book. But if I win I promise to read her book. Thanks Jennifer.
I’ve read all of Jennifer’s books and own most of them. It’s so hard to pick a favorite! I enjoy the historical books, like the Runaway Quilt, quite a bit, but also loved the Aloha Quilt (which contained quite a bit of Hawaiian history, too). I’ve been to Jennifer’s book signings for about the last five years and always enjoy what she has to say about writing her books. She’s an amazing and gifted author and I always look forward to what she will be writing next!
I love Jennifer’s books…I have all of them except this one…my favourite is the Aloha Quilt…thank you so much…Dzintra
I’ve only read An Elm Creek quilts collection, since it is the only one I could find in our area so far. (Your books are hard to find in Montreal) so I would definitely love to put my hand (and eyes) on this one.
I love and own all of the books in the series. It is hard to pick just one, but I did really enjoy The Aloha Quilt since it described the history of the Hawaiian quilts and how they were made in detail and made me want to go there and make one too!
I have read them all. love them. linda gerig
I have read all of Jennifer’s books except The Union Quilters–which I am planning to read soon. My favorite Jennifer Chiaverini book–ALL of them! I have never been disappointed in any of them, except for the fact that they end to soon. I always get very impatient waiting for the next book to come out. So tell Jennifer I said she needs to keep up the good work–just speed it up a little bit. I really can’t wait for new ones! (LOL) I am and always will be a fan from WV.
Love your books. Have read seven of your books so far. Reading The Sugar Camp Quilt now.
Love reading your books. I have read everyone and they are all good. Thanks for your hard work.
I’m so glad I was turned on to the Elm Creek Quilters series. Jennifer really develops each of the characters in her books and I enjoy their intertwining plots. My favorite, if I had to choose one, would be THE RUNAWAY QUILT. It really ties into my love of genealogy, plus the Civil War. That’s why I was especially excited about her new book, but was waiting till summer when I go camping and to the beach for when I could read it with no distractions (aside from the noise of nature, waves, etc.).
I have read all of Jennifers books. It is hard for me to pick my favorite so I think now it would be The Aloha Quilter.
I think your books are great.
With the exception of the newest in the series, I’ve read every single one of the books of the Elm Creek Quilts novels by Ms. Chiaverini. I have loved every single one, but if I had to choose one, I’d say it would be The Quilter’s Apprentice–the one that started it all!
I’ve read most of the Elm Creek Quilt books. My favorite is The Runaway Quilt. She comes to my area to speak at our library, I just love to go and listen. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
I have read all of Jennnifer’s books-most as soon as they are released. My favorite were the early ones that focused on the quilt camp and characters. But I love how she has spin off new characters and taken the stories backwards in history.
As a quilter I have had the opportunity to meet Jennifer and hear her speak. As a librarian I follow closely for new releases.
The style of writing reaches a wide range of audiences while quilters will love the content, the stories are very engaging.
We love Jennifer and look forward to many more great books!
I love her books! I have read and re-read all of them. Can’t wait to read the new one!
I have read all of the Elm Creek Quilt Books. I can’t pick a favorite but like the first books the best. I hope she keeps the books coming.
I have not read any of your books but do enjoy reading books about quilting and historic books related to quilting. It is just amazing the quilts that were handmade and are just beautiful or works of art now.
My favourite is “The Elm Creek Quilts Sampler” – which has the first 3 novels in the one book – thats my favourite because that was the first one I read and just couldn’t put down until I was finished and then was sad that I finished because I had loved every minute of reading it! – Needless to say I quickly got hold of another of Jennifer’s books to read.
I have read all your books!! They are all wonderful and can’t wait until a new one comes out. The Aloha Quilt has a special place in my heart as we travel to Maui each year and recognized many things you talked about. We have purchased a Ukelele from Mele’s and we stop and see Peter every year…he plays a song for me. I have also purchased all the fabric from your collection to make the Aloha Quilt. It’s almost done and I’ll send a pic when finished. Thanks for your books and would love to have a signed copy of the Union Quilters.
I hope I made it in time although being over 200 is not good I will tell you I love the Aloha book by Jennifer it just hit home for me….thanks you
Have read and Love all of the books so far and If I had to pick a favorite I guess it would be Aloha Quilters, would love to go to a quilt retreat in Hawaii.
LOVE HER BOOKS!!! I have all of them but this one! And it would be hard to say which is my favorite. I love the settings in all of them! And its great when you’re actually a quilter so you relate to whats being done in the book. I even have the pattern books that goes with the Elm Creek novels! Hopefully, there will be many many more.
Wow! I looked at a listing of Jennifer’s books and found I have read 10 of them. I liked The Quilter’s Legacy, perhaps best of all.
I have read all of her books an have enjoyed everyone. My favorite is the Aloha Quilters. All the books are great!
I’ve read all the books and loved them all. Runaway Quilt is my favorite. Can’t wait to read this one and share it with my bee friends.
I have read 5-6 of her books. LOVE THEM! But it has been so long… I think the last one I read was the “Winding Ways Quilt”.
Kat
… just added her name to my “authors to track down and read” list! I am lucky to come from a long line of quilters and know I will like the linking of quilts and historical fiction … how have I not come across her novels before this?!
Favorite book is very hard as I read A LOT! But Laurie R. King’s Beekeeper’s Apprentice and all of the fabulous Mary Russell series rank very high!
Thanks!
Lynn
I have not read this one yet–loved all the others. Would be great to be gifted!!!!!
I have read all of Jennifer’s books and I like every single one. However, The Quilters Apprentice might be my favorite, as it introduces Sylvia – and I love her dearly!
I have not yet read any of the books but I am currently making the “Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler” blocks.
I have read all of her books except the newest one – I have enjoyed them all but my two favorites are her first one _ The Quilter’s Apprentice and The Aloha quilt( a more recent one.
Regards from Western Canada,
Anna
I have read up through the New Years Quilt…I just started Winding Ways…I love them all but I especially enjoyed reading Dorthea’s story and Elizabeth’s story. I have only known of these books for the last year and a half so I’m hitting up the library to get them all read..LOVE THEM! Jennifer is an amazing story teller. Thank you. I’m only a beginner quilter but I become inspired through the books!
I have read the entire Elm Creek series. I would have a hard time just choosing one book from the series. I am anxious to read this one.
I haven’t read any of her books — and would like to – my favorite book is still the Bible.
I have read all of the Jennifer Chievarini books, and I love them. My sister-in-law bought me one as a present because I quilt, and I read. I then had to go out and get the rest of them! My current favorite is the Aloha Quilt. I live in Canada, and read it in winter. I had not yet started to quilt when I was last in Hawaii, and now I REALLY want to go back! I want to see some Hawaiian quilts.
I haven’t read any, but am working on the Sylvia Bridal Sampler.
i’ve only read her first one, quilter’s apprentince in dutch, and i just loved the way she wrote it… it was so relaxing and didn’t want to stop reading… greetz, veronique
I have read all of Jennifer’s books. I’m liked them all, but I have 2 favorites. My first one is “The cross country quilters.” The second one is “The circle of quilters.” I started reading her books before I started quilting. The description of quilting help fuel my desire to start quilt. Now I’m hooked.
I have not read this book. It sounds interesting. I love reading. I can not pick just one. I am going to that since I can’t name just one book then how about an author. I love to read anything buy Steven King. I have been a fan of his for about 25 years!!
I am dying to read this book. I love the books she writes. Syliva and her friends feel like friends. Quilting is my thing and I can relate to so much of the experiences they all have. The Cross Country Quilter was a favorite…but I love them all and look forward with anticipation for the next. I hope she never stops!!!!!
I haven’t read any of her books but I love themed books. I like all Laura Childs’ books
It would be hard for me to pick a favorite, but I can easily say that I like the historical novels even better than the contemporary ones–so I would love to win a copy of this newest book! Thanks for the chance to enter.
The Runaway Quilter – Pick ME!!!!
The Aloha Quilt – love her work
I’ve read all her books through the New Year’s Quilt. A little behind. Very thoughtful writing. Not just a quilt story.
I have only read a few of her books, but really enjoy them. My favorite so far is The Runaway Quilt. Looking forward to reading every one.
First read the Sugar Camp Quilt but have now got them all! Started reading the latest when visiting Charlotte NC from England which made it even better, being so close to where some of the book is set – well closer than England! Would love a signed copy as I will never get the opportunity to meet Jennifer.
I only recently discovered Jennifer Chiaverini’s books and haven’t read any of her fiction. I bought Sylvia’s Bridal sampler and love it a
I don’t know what to put in the website block. I have not read any of her books but would like to get started. love to make quilt tops . carol collins
I own and love all of Jennifer’s books, but my favorite have to be the Sugar Camp Quilt and Runaway Quilt. I loved the history of these ones. I would love her newest book, too!!!

I am a devoted follower of all Elm Creek books and have read all of them. Wonderful giveaway. Judy C
Like so many, I’ve read all of her books and am always anxious for the next one to come out. I love the characters in the modern books, but love the stories in the historical settings.
To make it an even 300… but I am too late!!! This is a historical fiction and I have read all of her books and am in the middle of this one. It is wonderful light reading. I even had the chance and took it to meet her on her book signing tour!!!
Love her books. Am reading this one right now. Borrowed from the library.
I loved Runaway Quilter. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
Of the 6 that I have read so far I find these books to be enchanting. I cannot wait to get home from work every day to get my reading time. I have even been inspired to learn how to quilt. Cannot wait to get started on that new adventure.
Left a quilt top with a lady to be machine quilted and there was this book lying on the table. I wrote down the name intending to go to the library. So I hope that Iwin the copy. Thanks for the chance. Love the blog tour.
I love her books! RIght now I am reading QUilter’s Homecoming. What fun to be able to win a signed copy of her new book…I would share it with my fellow guild members of course!
I have read several of her books, and have her quilt pattern book. Would love to read this one also.
I have read all of your books and fell in love with them when I read the first one. Could not pick a favorite one – my favorite is the one I am reading at the time – love them all. Being from Western PA has made them extra special for me because I know so many of the places that are in the books. Thanks for writing them, anxiously awaiting a new one.
Very beautiful block ,thank you opportunity that it is possible to prepare it if I win it
