Thanks for such great blocks — this should get creative juices stoked to create some great quilts. Thanks again. Keep up the good work.

I enjoyed Dawn Heese’s comment about her grandmother, Camelia, who ate cookies and ice cream and lived to a ripe old age. But, as usual, I enjoyed most of the blogs, too.
Loving Sunny Side Up – course, love basket quilts. I have truly enjoyed volume 1 & 2 of this magazine and would love to have volume 3.
So much inspiration–I love them all!
I enjoyed visiting SarahVee at Sew Joy Creations.com. I liked the fact that she gave the yardage for making the small wall hanging. Her colour choice was nice too – bright and vibrant.
I love the blocks that were featured today! Trying to choose a favorite is very difficult as I loved them all. I did like Jennifer Chivaverini’s blog and Karrie Lynn’s as she is a fellow Illinoian (sp?). I am glad that I don’t have to choose a first place winner as that would be way too difficult.
I loved Nancy Mahoney’s blog, and her cute Posy Patch block. I enjoyed visiting Martingale, and Jennifer Chiaverini. I’m listening to the Union Quilters on CD now as I sew. Thanks for the fun blog tour!
Sorry, I misspelled Karrie’s name, it should have been Lyne’s.

Today I enjoyed Me and my Sister, Elm Creek quilts, and Doodle time Designs the most.
I did have problems with a couple of sites not having posts about the giveaway.
It is really difficult to say which blog I enjoyed the most. I like being introduced to all of the designers. I think my favorite “hint” was the add on corners to the tri recs unit that was on the heartspun quilts blog. I’m definitely going to use that.
Having just finished Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler I had to see what Jennifer had new. Also checked out Freckled Wimsy, Lynn Roddy Brown and Nancy Mahoney
I am loving all the blocks so far. I want to try them all. So much creativity!!! Like Good Time Charlie, Pam Buda’s block.
Loved all the blocks but the most imaginative was the egg trilogy from Susan Geddes. A VERY close second would be Camelias Basket from Linen Closet Quilts. It is so hard to pick just one!
There are so many great ideas at the websites. “So many ideas, and patterns and so little time.” Someday I will retire and then there will be more time for quilting. Would love to win thanks for the opportunity.
I love finding the Elm Street blog. I enjoy all the sites and bookmarked quite a few of them to go back to.
I really like Faith Wellman’s radiant heart.
I enjoyed Sew Joy’s blog and block.
I loved them all as usual – it would be unfair to choose one
Love the egg plant blocks and the Going In Circles. Fun to see so many great ideas on the blogs!
Can’t possibly pick a favorite!! I always was the wishy-washy type that couldn’t make decisions!! I think that is why I have such trouble picking out fabrics for a quilt!! Too many choices!!
I love Cinzia White’s Khanam’s Surprise block, I want to make it up in 1930′s reproduction fabrics.
Diane, I’ve really enjoyed Blog Tour Day 2 and look forward to tomorrow. Sandi
There were so many great links today. I loved reading about one’s excitement in being included, and another’s technique for making the blocks. Great layouts by many, as well. How can I pick just one?! Jennifer Chiaverini, Faith’s heart, so many!

LOVE the me and my sister block and blog. One of the blogs didn’t have their block attached – maybe I was looking in the wrong place? Granola girls – it had an april 30th post that it was coming but no block to look at
I enjoyed all of the links and seeing some of the blocks made into quilts and other items.
Debbie
Oh my. Well, I really liked Paula Stoddard’s circles without curved piecing. Loved Nancy Mahoney’s block because it reminded me of my own grandmother’s garden, and Patti’s high tea block, which recalled memories of my English mother. Vick Eapen’s block was great fun, too.
I follow a few of these blogs, but I enjoyed them all. Freckled Whimsy, Me and My Sister, Nancy Mahoney, Elm Creek Quilts are just a few of the ones I liked today. Thanks for the magazine and the chance to win a copy.

enjoyed all the blogs great blocks which one do I make first?
All of them are fun and inspirational. I particularly liked Susan Vanerburgh’s and Nancy Mahoney’s.
My favorites were Me and my sisters design and the design by Sarah Vanderburgh. All of the designs are creative and adding to my to do list…LOL. Tammy G.
I liked spunsugar, me and my sisters, and quilty pleasures…I especially liked the simplicity of the spunsugar and me and my sisters blocks. They would be quick to work up but offer many possibilities for messing around with color – and isn’t that what we like to do?
I was so excited to see KarrieLynn’s had a block this time. I love her work and she is a sweetheart
Once again a great hop! It’s good to start seeing the blocks and coming up with ideas for using them. I particularly found lots of good at Dawn Heese’s blog , was glad to see Jennifer Chiaverini since I’m a big “Elm Creek” fan and found another Aussie designer to admire in Cinzia White.
I just hope Susan Geddes can forgive me for the “eggcellent” fun I had at her block theme’s expense. (I’ll stop now Susan, really I will!!)
I’m a big Elm Creek fan, so I loved Jennifer Chiaverini’s site.
Great hops today! I found 3 new blogs to follow: Pam Buda, Dawn Heese and Me and My Sister. I can’t believe I wasn’t following Me and My Sister already. Mary and Barbara are so funny!

))
I loved visiting meandmysisterdesigns.com/blog. The picture of the women with their faces covered made me laugh! And their blog is just full of life and brightness!
I enjoyed visiting Sew Joy – Sarah shares so much of herself, and I find all her creations a very happy mix. Could be the reason behind her name!!!
I enjoyed meandmysister. Someone recently told me about them, but I hadn’t checked out their site yet. So many clever projects. I’ll definitely add them to my list of blogs to follow.
I would have to say meandmysisterdesigns.com/blog gets my vote as the best today. I love the bright colors they use and the happiness radiating from them. Just enjoy everytime I visit them.

Today my favorite block was Going in Circles.
Well, I visited the Elm Creek blog and was glad to see a new book – Ive read them all and enjoyed them all. On Sew Joy, other than her current block, I enjoyed seeing the Liberated Churn Dash block. It’s wonky and well named! I am a fan of wonky houses and stars and well, I guess I just like wonky. On Linen Closet I enjoyed the story of her great grandmother and how the blocks name came about, amazing! I really liked Cinzia’s block (and entire quilt) and enjoy trying to name it as well. It’s a very unique pattern and loved how the stars popped out. Thanks!
I loved Susan Geddes “Egg Trilogy” to funny. Vicki Eapen is always wonderful for blog posts and projects.
Hmmmm, which sites have I liked?? Which sites HAVEN’T I liked!!! They’re all great. Thanks for providing so many great links!!
What stood out to me today was the comment on Nancy Mahoney’s blog by Katharine Hepburn ..”If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.” I am just now starting to relax a little bit in my quilting and doing things my own way instead of trying to be perfect in following all the instructions. I am relatively new to quilting, going on three years, and just wanted to do everthing right. Well….that’s no fun. I tell myself take a deep breath and go for it now. It is okay to modify a pattern to fit your likes and make it easier to do. Yeh!! and thank goodness for a seam ripper.
My favs today are by Cinzia White and Sarah Vanderburgh!
So many to choose from today that I enjoyed! I have to say Jennifer Chiaverini, Sarah Vee and Susan Geddes. Hop, Hop Hop! Hope I win!

I’m not going to promise you that, I’ll be here
I loved them all, but loved the quilty pleasures circle quilt the best!
I enjoyed visiting Jennifer Chiaverini @ elmcreek.net/blog as I enjoy her books, her pattern books and her beautiful block Commencement. I also enjoyed visiting Mary Jacobson/Barbara Groves@ meandmysisterdesigns.com/blog and their block Happy made from their fabric line by the same name. I love the bright colors. I love Me and My Sister designs and their great site. The story of Dawn Heese’s grndmother was precious! The block was a great tribute to her.

My favorite was visiting Freckled Whimsy’s blog and seeing her block in different quilt layouts!
I really loved reading the Pacific Patchwork blog about the block “Going in Circles”. I can’t wait to see more about that block since it looks like a lot of curved piecing but she claims there are no curves. I love the look of that block.
Then another blog that’s always fun to read was Barb & Mary’s at Me and My Sister Designs. The block they’ve created is a great looking one as well.
Another of my favorites was the Elm Creek blog in reading about the ‘Commencement Block’ created by Jennifer Chiaverini. That’s another great block that caught my attention. It’s a great looking block and the variations with the different colors were interesting to see how the block changed its look.
I love Eileen Fowlers Sun Block. Have also checked out Gina Reddin, Blue Nickel and with a name like Moose on the Porch who wouldn’t check it out! So many ideas-so little time.

Maria
I liked Freckled Whimsy…so far her Patched Geese has been one of my favorites!
Have to say me and my sister designs.
“Happy” is my favorite kind of block — a real stashbuster.
It has been wonderful to visit many ‘new’ (new to me) blogs and marvel at the range of talent and styles!
Two favs are Freckled Whimsy / Karrie Winters, and Me and My Sister Designs / Mary Jacobson and Barbara Groves … I like bright upbeat colors and blocks!
I liked the Spinner block. I know that the designer was thinking flowers, but it looks like a star to me. I love the colors that she used in her sample block. The yellow background just makes the rest of the block jump out at you.
Spinner is my fave! Love the fabrics too!
Meandmysisters was enjoyable
Spinning star is my favorite, but all the others are very close.
