Patch Pals Border Swap

When we introduced the Patch Pals Collection in our Jan/Feb ’11 issue, we wanted these playful characters to be easy-to-piece and simply made from squares and a few triangles. The crib quilts in this collection are all the same size and their borders are interchangeable, making it easy to customize your project. These quilts make great baby or shower gifts for the special little one in your life.

Here are Beary Patch, Quack Patch and Ruff Patch as they were originally patterned. Kits for all of these Patch Pals can be found at quiltandsewshop.com.

I am guessing you have a tiger and a peacock ahead? or maybe a whale?

Wholesale customers can contact SalesToShops@creativecraftsgroup.com to order magazines and other Quiltmaker product.

I am hoping you are going to do a monkey, elephant, and/or giraffe. Any one of these three would go in my future grandchild’s nursery. I need to be done before August. In any case, these are great!

I’m guessing a cat and a frog. Both cute for babies. Love your magazine. It’s the best out there.

I love the Panda especially with the checker board boarder. I love these patterns as they are so cute and easily put together. I’m going to make the dog next but might need to make a Panda! I’m looking forward to seeing a kitty sometime in this grouping.
Denise – thanks for the great designs.

Are you going to give instructions for the Panda Bear Pal? I’m making the Beary Patch now and would love to make the Panda as well.

I desperately need the Jan/Feb 2011 issue. I need to make beary patch for my new grand childs room and the colors in the kit do not match what I need. Any suggestions on how to get a copy, it is no longer for sale on this website. Thanks,
    Cathy

I’m thinking Tiger & something aquatic like a fish or whale.

I love Quiltmaker Magazine. I have many years that I have saved and pull out all the time to have a cup of coffee, put my feet up and slowly turn those pages, studying to see what is there, a new pattern, just the thing I was looking for or a color combination. I like that it gives color options and tips. I would choose the dogs, any of then, as I have 4 schnausers. I love the full size patterns. I get it and read it at least 3x, cover to cover before I file it. Then I still go back……I may have forgotten what was in there, so it is like a new one to me. Ruff Patch reminds me of my dog “Woofie”….lots of enthausim.

For the brown border I’m assuming a tiger and for the dark blue border a whale or a dolphin. Just love the animal quilt blocks they are so cute.
