Would the promise of fun prizes motivate you to post quilt photos online? We hope so! Quiltmaker is happy to announce the launch of First Friday Show & Tell! You’ll be able to post photos of quilts you’ve made from QM patterns to be eligible for great prizes each month. You’ll see what others are making. You’ll be energized and inspired! Doesn’t this sound like fun?!
Our Show & Tell will be held in the Show & Tell Gallery of our community site at Quilters Club of America. Registering at QCA is fast and free and gives you access to loads of fun, free, quilty content! You’ll be able to learn and share and grow and make new friends!
Here is a step-by-step guide to Quiltmaker’s First Friday Show & Tell.
- Snap photos of quilts you’ve made from Quiltmaker patterns.
- Register (free) at Quilters Club of America.
- First create a gallery with your photo by following these instructions; complete the process and be sure to tag your photo! Under “Select Tags” go to QCA Fun (last category) and check “Quiltmaker Show & Tell.” Be sure to select other tags that apply to your quilt to help people find them when they’re searching.
- In the comments section, you can give the pattern and designer names, plus the issue info.
Each photo of a Quiltmaker quilt you’ve made that is posted and tagged gives you one chance to win great prizes like magazines, fabric bundles and new quilting books. We’ll remind you of First Friday every month, but anything you post during that month makes you eligible to win. You can’t go wrong!
What projects could you post? Have you made something from Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks? Have you quilted using any of our quilting motif books or EQ CDs? Have you gifted something made from a classic QM pattern? The possibilities are endless. We can’t wait for First Fridays. We can’t wait to see what you’ve been making!
