Our current series quilt, Meet Me at the Manor designed by Connie Walker, wraps up in the March/April edition of Quiltmaker.
The quilt above was featured in the pattern; the series began in Sept/Oct ’10 (No. 135). The featured color scheme is called Summer. Here’s a sneak peek of the finished quilt in not one, not two, not three, but four additional colorways! This design had so much potential that we couldn’t pick just one, so our readers get all four “extra” color schemes. If one of these sounds perfect for your next project, you can get a starter kit of fabrics for any of these versions.
How about classic blue and white?
Or maybe you prefer Batik?
Is the 1930s your cup of tea?
Or the very popular Autumn?
And when you complete this or any quilt from a QM pattern, we invite you to send us a photo: editor@quiltmaker.com. We love to see what our readers are making!
Find part 2 in Nov/Dec 2010.
Find part 3 in Jan/Feb 2011.
Coming soon: Find part 4 in March/April 2011.

Wow each quilt looks so different using different fabrics and color.
So fun to see how different the color/fabric choices make the quilt look… I’m partial to Autumn.
Each quilt evokes a different reaction from me based on the color. My favorite is still the original, especially the flying geese around the houses at the top.
Wow! How fun to see all the different colorways! I’m in love with the autumn one.
OH WOW!! I love this in blue!! But wait!! The batiks are yummy too!!
I love how the different fabrics change the pattern so much!
