Yahoo for more magazines to giveaway! I’m very thankful for your generosity with the giveaways!
And of course I will be sewing on Turkey Day! I will get to enjoy my grandmother’s cooking and won’t have to help until it’s time to clean up. I will be able to sew at my house before heading over and I will be able to take hand sewing to work on while enjoying the smells and conversation. And as long as there is no food coma when I get back home, I will do more sewing!
Thanks for the chance at this magazine. Yes, I will sew on turkey day, but mostly because it isn’t my turkey day. I’m Canadian, so we celebrated Thanksgiving in October. happy thanksgiving to all you Americans!
Will I sew on thanksgiving Well of couse I sew when I have a day off and with all the trimmings I will have food to eat and I don’t have to cook in between all those seams. I am sewing a Hollow cube baby quilt It is a challenge. Happy Thanksgiving
Will I sew on Turkey Day? Yup, it’s just another day!
I have to cook on Turkey Day, but I think also getting in some sewing is a fantastic idea! Thank you, Quiltmaker. You creatively challenge me! Happy Holidays! ~Kathleen
We had our Thanksgiving in October ( I’m Canadian) but the 25th is my son’s birthday so I might be busy baking a birthday cake instead of sewing. It all depends on how complicated a cake he wants!!
Thanks for the list! I am not cooking this Thanksgiving, the first time in many years, so YES I am sewing on Thursday. I’ll probably finish up some little projects to clear the way for the bigger ones. I want to start some new stuff in January!
Yes, I will sew on Thanksgiving later in the day after the meal and company has left. Thanks for another chance to win the 100 Block magazine.
Thank you for another chance! I will most likely do a bit of hand sewing in the evening when I sit down to relax. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for another chance to win 100 Blocks–I did not find a copy yet!
I will probably not be sewing on Turkey Day. Too busy making pie, cranberry sauce and other goodies. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Sew on Turkey Day? Why not? Of course!
Will I sew on Turkey Day? No.
I will be away visiting and feasting at my brother’s house.
Thank you for the the list of great websites to visit!! And for the wonderfule giveaway. I am a new subscriber to your blog and have enjoyed reading the posts!
Yay! Maybe I’ll win one of these!! No, I won’t be sewing on Turkey Day…we’re invited to a friend’s house so no cooking for me. But no sewing either since we’re traveling.
Nope! I’ll be at my MILs sans sewing machine.
My dream Thanksgiving Day celebration would be me in my jammies and slippers, with a turkey roasting for me to snack on all day, happily sewing away. But it will be fun having friends over. So no sewing. Until maybe later in the day. If I’m awake
Nope – going to my daughter’s place to eat. She has tv, (we don’t) and our Saints are playing! Plus, my son is coming up, haven’t seen him in like 3 months, so we just want to eat and visit that day!
Yes! I can stitch on binding while chatting with everyone…..have a baby quilt to complete!
I plan on sewing on Turkey Day. We have a 5 hour drive to get to my in-laws, so I have some hand sewing projects to take along to pass the time.
Of course I will sew on Turkey Day. I sew everyday
I do live in Australia and will be thinking of you all and wishing you a Wonderful Safe Thanksgiving
No sewing on Thanksgiving ’cause we’ll be visiting New Orleans for the first time. Can’t wait! Thanks for a chance to win!!
Well of course I will be sewing on Thanksgiving!!! Isn’t everyone?? I have to work first and then come home and put the turkey in the oven. Then I will have time to get a few minutes in to sew. How about you??
Yippee! Another chance to win. Yes I will sew on Thanksgiving. We had out big family meal on Sunday, so it is just me and hubby. No big plans, just relaxing and enjoying the day!
I unfortunately will not get to sew on Thanksgiving because I will be out of town and cannot take my sewing machine with me. Thanks for the chance to win! Happy Thanksgiving.

No I won’t be sewing on Thursday – unfortunately! However I have 3 pillowcases to make before Thursday. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this great giv-a-way! I love the 100 block magazine:) Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Yes, I will definitely be sewing…I have to have all my Christmas gifts done and ready to ship by Dec 8th! Fortunately, I will have plenty of pie to keep my stamina up. Thanks for the chance to win the magazine!
Nope! I won’t be sewing Thanksgiving day. I’ll be enjoying three days with my family here and counting our many blessings.
But Saturday….not that’s the day I sew!! They’ll all be heading home and I’ll have a frig full of leftovers.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU, as I received your LOVELY magazine today!
It’s so amazing & priceless I am so excited to have it and wish everybody all the best in winning a copy of their own, since it is a MUST HAVE!
Thank you Thank you Thank you SO SO SO MUCH!!!
I haven’t bought this magazine yet so thanks for another chance to win one. I probably will be sewing in the evening.
Hi! Thank you for making this chance to win a magazine. I do not receive any in the mail, so I’m wishing and hoping to win. I will be doing sewing in the evening on Turkey Day. I rarely miss a day without sewing. So, after a feast at my sister’s, out-of-town,( To which I take the Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, and sweet potatoes) I will be hemming a baby quilt for my niece who is due in Feb. of 2011. Thank you for making an opportunity for me to win your magazine. Fingers crossed.
I think the only “sewing” I’ll get to do is basting the turkey! I’m cooking and hosting round one and then it’s off to relatives for the rest of the day. Maybe I’ll get some handwork done in the car.
I have already won and received my copy from you sweet people and you better believe I am going to be sewing once the TV football starts !
Even more beautiful blocks, that hummingbird is gorgeous.
Yes I will be quilting on Thursday, Friday, Saturaday and maybe even on Sunday. I will be preparing Thanksgiving, but will be quilting in between. Thanks for a chance to win.
Thanks for the list of blogs above. I don’t think the family will appreciate you quite as much since I’ll be on the computer even more–if that’s possible;-}
I hope to sew some in the morning. Depends on what I have to fix for Thanksgiving dinner. I have not received my assignment yet.
Love it when someone else is in charge.
I just discovered that I had another chance to win the amazing 100 Blocks magazine… yeah! Since I am Canadian, eh! no problem… will sew that day not having any turkey meal to prepare. Already did that! I am busy sewing placemats for the Meals on Wheels program and must have them completed for the December Quilt Guild meeting. Again, thank you for the opportunity to enter the contest again and again!
Thanks for another chance. Given the choice of sewing or inlaws, I prefer the sewing.
No sewing for me. Turkey and dressing and sides OH MY!!!!
Wonderful, another chance to win!
Hopefully I’ll be sewing on Turkey Day!!
Usually I would say “No, I won’t be sewing on Thanksgiving” as we go to my niece’s that day. However, this year she has to work, so we’re celebrating on Friday instead. So I will actually be able to work on my current project that day, after a quiet dinner here at home with my husband. Thanks for a great giveaway!
Most likely the sewing machine, iron and I will spend some quality time together on Thursday. We are inseparable.
Yes, I will quilt in the evening. I LOVE to quilt. I semi-retired last
year to have more time to quilt. I usually make string quilts for Linus, the homeless, or the needy. My family gets quilts when I have finished the others. Happy Thanksgiving ! Rose
I will sew on Turkey Day! (I’ve already won a copy, can’t wait to receive it–hard to resist not purchasing it–mail come quick!)
I sure am hoping to sew on Thursday. This week I am trying to finally finish a full-size quilt I started for my daughter 1.5 yrs ago. We live out of the US and although Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday it isn’t celebrated here and turkeys are hard to come by. I’d much rather sew than cook any day!!!!!!!!
I try to sew everday
I have been really excited about this magazine, but haven’t purchased it yet. I’d love to win. I will hopefully sew on Thanksgiving–either quilting a Christmas quilt, shirts for my girls to match their Christmas skirts, purses for my nieces, or a quilt for my in-laws. There are always sewing options around here especially with Christmas so close.
I hope I can find some time to sew on Thursday, though I will be busy prepping food and traveling…..maybe I can sew in the car. I have a lot of projects left to finish before Christmas. Thanks for another chance to win.
I’ll be visiting family so won’t be quilting, but I will be on Friday! No Black Friday for me!!
Thanks for the chance to win the magazine. I won’t be sewing as we will be visiting 2 different families the whole day. Tried to get my sewing done before then.
I won’t be able to. We have people coming over all day and evening. Thank you for the chance at another giveaway.
It depends on the weather. We are invited to our sons home but the weather forcast is ice, snow and windy so if we are home I will definetly sew. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Thanksgiving.
I will definitely sew, but since I am finishing up some Christmas ornaments (Blackbird designs mini stockings — cross stitch) — I will be sewing those up by hand rather thank working on quilt blocks, unfortunately!
I will definitely sew because we don’t have Turkey Day here in the UK – what is it anyway// I love the sound of it
Gill
Yes, I will sew; we had our big Turkey Day celebration last Saturday to accomodate those that had to work over the holiday weekend. Someone told me once to spend at least 15 minutes in my sewing room every day and you will be surprised……I do, and I am amazed at what I get done!
I would love to sew on Thursday…my sewing time begins again on Saturday. No, I think I’ll use my spare time on Thursday for eating!
Actually that would be fun but there is cooking, parades, football and family to see, do, visit and rest from.
No need to enter me, I already luckily won a copy! Thank you for such an awesome magazine. I can’t wait to check out the blogs of these other designers! Happy Turkey Day…and yes to sewing.
I would love to sew on “Turkey Day”, but we have 2 families to visit that day and I don’t think that I will get a chance to sew.=(
I hope to sew, hopefully ;}
I was blessed by being the winning entry from Clothworks, I am so eager to receive your 2nd edition, when do you think I might have it in my mailbox?
