I subscribe to Quiltmaker and found out that there is a Quiltmaker blog also. Being a major quilting blog fan, I of course had to subscribe and that’s how I heard about the blog tour. By reading the blog….
Found out about the blog tour from your blog. Been a follower for awhile now; love the blog and Quiltmaker of course! Thanx for the chance.
I want to thank you for the amazing tour, and for the amazing giveaways! I’m excited that I won the magazine, I would not have otherwise been able to obtain one for a long time to come. Thank you so much! I can’t help but hope that I win this lovely giveaway as well! I’m sure my luck is up, but it can’t hurt to try, right? Thanks again!
One of our local quilt shops sent out an email with a link to the owners quilt blog. Among other things there was a link to the Quiltmakers 100 block blog tour. So I came by to take a peek
Thanks so much for such a fun week! I found out about the big to-do on a blog I visit (can’t remember which one, but sshhh, don’t tell anyone my brain isn’t what it used to be
) and came over to see your blog. Can’t wait for this issue to come out next week!
Quiltmaker has been a favored magazine for a long time. Just discovered you have a blog too! More fun!
I found out about the Blog Tour from so many bloggers and even put it on my own blog with button to spread the word to the quilting community on the web. I have enjoyed this immensely – many designers I visit their sites frequantly, but there were new ones and did at times get lost in all that blog browsing. Hmmm, maybe I’ll get some sewing done next week.
From Victorianaquiltdesigns.com/Benita skinner. Thank you! It’s been a fun week. Kept me so busy I didn’t have time left to do any stitches, but after all the ideas, information and the new 100 blocks magazine, will be happily stitching for a long time;~)
I know the digital version for the 1st edition of 100 blocks is available now, but was wondering if you may consider having a reprint of it? Found about it after it was sold out everywhere (sniff , sniff). Would love to have the actual magazine! I sure won’t be missing the new one. Thanks again!
I visited the Quiltmaker website because I couldn’t find issue #90 – part 2 of Country Baskets patterns missing from a 6 part series that ran 89 – 94. (I did find a correction for one of the patterns I hadn’t noticed numbered wrong.) I know it’s here somewhere…
Have enjoyed the unexpected tour very much!!
I have sewed enjoyed the tour, as a program convener for our local guild it is your magazine that I flog more than others. I look forward to your Vol 2 Blocks and all the Volumes thereafter. Congrats to all the block designers, what a unique gathering.
I’m new to the more sophisticated quilting I’m learning about here. What fun! So interesting! Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for the amazing tour! I found the magazine on my newsstand at my local grocer yesterday! I was so excited that I blogged about it! Thanks for a chance to win!
I read your blog and knew from reading it that the tour was coming.

Thanks for all the giveaways. The quilt blocks are amazing in the magazine. I found out by my mom who told me about your blog and the tour.
This has been a fabulous blog hop! Thanks for organizing this event! I am a regular reader of The Quilty Pleasures Blog. I’m thinking that’s how I learned of this event. I also am a regular reader of some of the designer blogs and read of the event on their blogs. At the Quilt Expo in Atlanta last month, I renewed my Quiltmaker subscription for 2 years. I’m so glad that I did. Thanks, ladies for a wonderful magazine and a super fun blog hop!
I can’t recall!! I just know that I’ve been wrapped up following all those amazing blogs, getting excited about the blocks and patterns I’m seeing, what a totally fun experience! Thanks!

It *has* been a fun week! I recently purchased the digital version of the first 100 blocks and saw info on the site that the new one was coming. Lots of bloggers have steered me here since then!
I’ve been a follower of the blog for a while so heard about the blog tour via the blog itself!
I have enjoyed this week, and am quite blessed to have won a book! I first heard about it from Gene Black’s blog; but I was already a follower of many of the artists. It has been fun finding more! Your giveaway bundle is awesome. I have been wishing for some curve templates because I’ve been a curve chicken and it’s time to face that giant!!
I heard about the Blog Tour many places but I think the first was the Fat Quarter Shop! Thanks for the chance.
Just got the email. Sounds like a wonderful idea. Thanks for an opportunity to participate.
Easy peasy teasy! A little bird…no I can’t tell…oh, all right, it was Carrie Nelson at La Vie en Rosie, of course! Carrie works hard to keep all of her peeps informed. [Music in background]

I don’t know where I first heard about the tour. It seems like it was everywhere in blog land. Scrolling through Reader I see the button on so many posts. It’s been great fun. Thank you.
I read a lot of blogs!!! Thanks for the chance to win!
I originally found out about the tour from a quilter whose block was going to be featured in the tour. I’ve had a ball following, though it has been quite a challenge keeping up! I plan on getting my hands on an issue and dreaming up projects, some of which I hope to actually get to in the coming year!
It’s great reading all the blogs…hopeI’m a winner

Wow, what a week. Like so many others I want to thank you for all your hard work in putting together such and amazing week of blog hopping and giveaways. Though I was familiar with many of the wonderful participating designers and bloggers, I happily discovered many new (to me) blogs that I enjoyed so much I have added them to my ‘visit every day’ blog list. It has be more fun than I can say, even though I was not one of the lucky winners. It was delightful participating in the wild and wonderful acitvities that have been keeping us glued to our computers all week. My hubby even cooked most of the meals this week because I kept saying “be there in just a second honey”…not realizing how much time was passing until the call “come and eat” rang down the stairs, LOL. By the way, he is a great cook!!! In answer to your question concerning how I heard about the fun…a big Shout Out to Helen Stubbings of “Hugs from Helen” for posting on her website to be sure and check it out along with a link to get me here. Thanks so much Helen!
Maybe I’ll be lucky enought to win in this big finale, maybe not, but I have enjoyed myself so much I’m win either way! Once again, thanks so much, and a huge thanks to all those great folks who participated in the giveaways. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go buy myself a copy of the 100 Blocks magazine and see if I can find a copy of the first one to add to my must do pattern collection.
Wow, double Wow! This is the first time I have tried this! It is so much fun, so inspiring, so hard to get any work done….all I want to do is stay in the office on the computer. Thanks for all the hard work to put this together. Quiltmaker has been my fav for a long time.
I enjoyed the first 100 block magazine and I knew the second one would be a sure hit. Can’t wait. Sooooo many talented quilter’s out there!! Way to go with the block tour. Been fun!
I’ve loved this week. The blog tour has been great. Thank you so much for doing this. I would love to win one of the bundles. I’ve been sneaking time out for this tour in the midst of getting ready for my son’s wedding tomorrow. Thanks again.

I discovered that the creativity never ceases to amaze me!
How in the wotld does anybody get any work done with all this! I’m supposed to write a bog about quilting I’m not doing because I’m doing this.
I’ve discovered that the creativity never ceases to amaze me!
I’m pretty sure I heard about it from someone’s blog, whose name escapes me at this moment. It’s been fun visiting blogs I hadn’t followed before and seeing all the great blocks.
This has been a great bloghop! And the bundle is to die for! I have visited sooooo many shops on this hop, I am not sure where I first heard about it, but I follow your blog and love it!
I first heart about it on Facebook.
I heard about the blog tour from either Patchwork Times or Quiltville. I’m pretty new to Blogworld, so this tour has been a great way to visit new virtual worlds, seek out new lives and new civilizations, to boldly go where, well, many quilters have gone before (cue eerie music)!
I am a HUGE fan of toadusew and I saw the announcement on their website! This has been a fun week – thanks!
I have been enjoying the blog hop this week and hope to win a big bundle. The first thing I do in the morning is make my coffee and then sit at my laptop and read blogs. Now instead of it taking me an hour, it is taking me 3 hours.
Thanks for the tour, it has been fun, but now I have to get to work.. The only thing about this is I have spent way too much time on the computer and not enough time at my machine!
Can’t wait for the magazine to come out. Have enjoyed your magazine for years and have made many projects from it.
I think it was Bonnie Hunter’s blog that got me here but I could be wrong. i do confuse easily when I’m on the net. I do subscribe to Quiltmaker magazine and visit the site so am happy to be able to read the blog. Lots of great info and inspiration.

I first heard about the Blog Tour on somebody’s blog, but at this point I don’t remember which one it was. Then soon I read about it on several others.
I enjoy your magazine and blog.
I subscribe to Quilty Pleasures, which has been fun to read, not only this week, but all year long. Because of your posts about Anita’s Arrowhead Block ( three of them I believe) I dug out my magazine for another look. I posted about it on my blog for my readers to see what a fabulous block Anita’s had designed. I had quite an increase in blog traffic from that one post. Keep sharing the wonders of Quiltmaker
Inquiring minds want to know!

I first heard about this Blog Tour on one of the blogs I visit that participates, and have seen it on many blogs since then. What a delight to see so many fun, do-able blocks…each one is a treasure; maybe I’ll have to make each one into potholders and give as Christmas presents–now that’s do-able! (Well, maybe not by THIS Christmas—ha!) Thanks so much for pulling my name as the winner ~~~
D

I found the 100 Block Tour on Monday, but because of other committments, I have only been able to comment on Monday and today. But it looks like today is the big day anyway! I have really enjoyed reading the blogs – I had NO IDEA that there were so many out there! Thanks for opening my eyes!
I have found soooo many cool sites! I’ve loaded up my bookmarks with them. This really has been a lot of fun.
I followed the blog tour last year, and I won a copy of the 100 Blocks, 1st ed. I am hoping to be so lucky this year, as I have loved the magazine. I am trying to finish a Christmas Sampler Quilt that was born from the inspiration of the designers of that first 100 Blocks!
What a fun tour! I’ved loved getting to know some new bloggers. Thanks for the good times!
I first learned about the 100 blocks from the blog by Freckled Whimsy.
I subscribe to Quiltmaker magazine, to the Quilty Pleasures blog, and many blogs that have been highlighted in this fun tour. I actually had the dates highlighted on my wall calendar so I wouldn’t miss it
I’ve followed your blog through reader for a long time now and enjoyed the festivities with first issue of 100 Blocks. This has been a great tour, I’ve enjoyed the new blocks and meeting some new designers. Now I have so many new ideas I’m anxious to get started! Thanks for a great time!
There are so many interesting comments on these blogs — one can only hope a lucky number comes up, with your name on it (or, in this case, my name). It’s been a really fun week, getting acquainted with all these new blogs.
I love seeing all the different blocks – and finally clicked over to blank and lo – there is an asian print that would work great on my next project
How did I hear, gosh, I’m an addicted blog reader and have read about it from so many but it may have been the Fat Quarter shop that mentioned it first. I just know that I’m going to get the magazine and probably buy the cd of year 1.
Thanks for sharing all this great information and for the chance to win. Wow!
Gosh, you’d think I’d remember, but I know it was from another blog and I think maybe for someone like SewCalGal!
Quiltmaker has easy to follow instructions. The magazines with 100 blocks are definitely inspirational. What a great publication.
I subscribe to one of the participants in the hop, so when she made her hop post I discovered it and hopped on over!
I have had so much fun seeing all the wonderful blocks. I know I will treasure this issue as much as Vol #1. Can’t wait to get #2
I’m on the Victoriana Quilter newsletter list and saw the information there, I think. I didn’t have as much time to look around at the various sites and blogs, but got a renewed energy serge to get some quilting done before the end of 2010. Thanks for a wonderful trip this week!
I’m so glad that Benita at Victoriana Quilts let us know about the 100 Blocks tour! Great stash of gifts, thanks for the chance to win.
Love your magazine! Great blog! Found you on facebook.
I first heard about the blog tour on the blog of one of the block designers I think. Thanks for the great giveaways! :0)
Subscribe to Quiltmaker and got onto this from their website and then Twitter….oh so many ways to find out stuff these days!! Just never enough time to make all the quilts I want to make.
I subscribe to the blog, and am a fan on Facebook, and follow several of the designers who have been featured, so I have been inundated with blog tour info!
I heard about it on someone elses blog but can’t remember who it was. Thanks for doing this fun week.
Quiltmaker is my favorite magazine. I’m new to blogs, so this is exciting.
I learned about the blog tour by reading several of the designers blogs. Thanks for the giveaway!
A few of the blogs I read had provided “sneak peaks” to their blocks – the one that caught my eye was the one with the owl block – sorry can’t remember who that was now. A good friend loves owls, so I subscribed to the quilty pleasures blog to find out more when it was coming out and if I would want to buy the magazine (I didn’t buy volume 1 and i really regret it now – PLEASE consider reprinting it – I know you can get it digitally, and have, but there is nothing like flipping through a book/magazine for patterns… it just isn’t the same as paper). There are sooo many of the blocks that I want, that I hope I win a magazine.
I first heard of the tour on Judy Laquidara’s Patchwork Times blog and since then have seen it on several others that I follow.
Thanks!
What a great tour and giveaway! I heard about it on the Fat Quarter Shop twitter stream.
