I’ve discovered some really great blogs over the last few days – and I’ll continue reading as many as I can!!!
Thank you
Gill
I’ve discovered my Google Reader is bursting at its seams ! I’ve ‘followed’ so many blogs with loads of inspirations and it’s all because of Quilty Pleasures!
There were more new to me designer’s today than any of the other days, so I took a long time browsing sites. Thank you for a delightful tour.
I have really enjoyed the blogs and some of the ideas I gleaned were great!! Now I want to find a good frog pattern…that is pretty hard… I designed one myself, but wasn’t totally happy with the outcome, though I made a quilt for a little boy with it.
The best part is finding new inspiration in the block designers you chose. Some unexpected surprises too. The quilting world is really filled with the most amazing characters…A great view from here, I will cherish my copy as I have my first 100 blocks. Vol 1. May there be many more to add through the years…blocks and volumes. Sew appreciated… Msamm
Oh this is so excting to participate in! I loved Volume 1 and refer to it often for my block swaps!
Thank you for such a wonderful cornucopia of designers this week. Several of them were known to me but I have discovered some new ones which I have added to my reader list. Today I discovered Spun Sugar Quilts; her designs are so different from the usual quilts that I make but she has inspired me to make some scrappy ones.
I’ve discovered some great new designers that have inspired me to try different things, like scrappy quilts (I don’t do scrappy!)
I love Sue Daleys Engligh paper piecing block. Its beautiful! Lots and lots of fun this week – thank you for all of it!
I have enjoyed seeing all the new designers that I never knew about! thanks for the fun!
I really enjoyed this tour visiting so many talented quilters – Thanks for hosting this!
Hi, how wonderful to see such a variety of inspiring work, hugs Judy
I learned something new from one of the blogs, that english paper piecing is not just about hexagons anymore. Who knew? This blog tour has been a wealth of information and inspiration. Thanks!
Sorry to see the blog hop end. I loved reading the design story from the designer at Riley Blake Designs. There’s also the chicken rug and red Christmas tree that added to the booth at Houston. Discovered that deadlines are really deadlines. Wonder how many designers actually missed submitting blocks because they missed the deadline. Looking forward to the magazine and of course to Vol. 3:)
I discovered that I’m heading over to the websites too early, lots of them weren’t up yet, LOL, and I love that mug you gave out, I’ve seen it a few times now. Sipping coffee in the morning and using your mug to plan the next project, perfect morning.
I’ve discovered today that alot of the bloggers featured don’t update their pages before I get up
I’ll be back after the sun rises, and recheck those who are not early birds
I have LOVED this blog hop! I have had sew much fun, been very inspired, and have learned of some new designers and fun blogs, that I would have never discovered had you not allowed me this EASY access opportunity ! What a GREAT time I’ve had! Now… what do I do next week? SEW of course!
there is a lot of information available…i love reading about them. There is a lot of work in being a designer and they are all so creative.
I have enjoyed myself this week. I have found a number of interesting blogs and exciting ideas. Thanks for the fun and exposure to new.

I learned that there are so many amazing and creative people out there in the quilting world. I already knew that, but it was reconfirmed to me over and over during this blog hop. Thank you so much for hosting it. It has been truly enjoyable!!
Your blog hop has made my week, but my husband can’t believe how much I am typing on my laptop everyday. Hmmmm…I’m just trying to win a magazine, honey!?! Unbelievable! Wow, I can’t wait to visit the Fat Quarters Quilt Shop in San Diego! It looks like my kind of place. Thank you for everything, Quiltmaker!
This has been an amazing week. Wish it didn’t have to end. Loved visiting the sites today. There are so many clever and creative quilters. I think quilters are naturally creative, but seeing all the ideas right before my eyes confirms it!!
Several of the designers asked us to comment on our favorite technique – something I hadn’t thought about.
This has been a fun blog hop! Thanks! Can’t wait to see the magazine!
I have found some very talented people in the last few days and many wonderful places to visit this winter when the snow is flying! Thanks for the wonderful time.
I’ve discovered some great designers and was able to visit “old friends” as well. My biggest surprise was to find out Holly Hill’s Mary Jane was a designer in this volume. I can’t wait to see her to congratulate her personally!
I discovered Tricia of Turning Twenty fame, does redwork! Sorry to see the blog hop end…Can’t wait to get a copy of Vol 2, so I can give Vol 1 a rest! These are such great sources of inspiration. Thanks!

I saw Sue D’s block in a different color and thought it was so pretty. However, i like her coffee cup! Where can i get one? haha
Thanks so much for the awesome giveaways!
I have thoroughly enjoyed ” looking” around at all the wonderful inspiration, opportunity, and learning experiences and all in one place. Good job Quiltmaker for bringing us some quality sites to learn and absorb. I particularly enjoy the techniques rather than the quilt patterns. The patterns looks as if everyone really put a lot of effort into their design.
Inspiration is what I discovered. Beauty, joy, creativity, fun, whimsy, passion, but mostly, inspiration! Thank you and the designers who participated for such a funfilled week, and for your generoisty. I had surgery in 2009 and the quilting mojo left for about a year. What a fun way to come back to quilting!
It’s fun seeing new blogs and places I haven’t been. Open Gate is my today’s favorite.
Gorgeous blocks and samples!! Thank you so much for teh blog tour and thanks to all the people and companies who have donated goodies for the giveaways! I would consider myself so lucky to win just the magazine!
I am a begginer and I love this block! Thanks for the chance!

It was really great to see all the different types of blocks that are available, with all different techniques. So much talent all in one place.
I discovered that the author of the Turning Twenty pattern books is doing redwork: Tricia Cribbs: friendfolks.com/weblog
Some of the blocks are sweet, and some are humorous. I found the 101st block that wasn’t in the book – looks like a pretty sunflower – at 1. Fat Quarters Quilt Shop. So many styles and blocks — so many talented designers – loving the blog hop. Have found some blogs that keep giving error messages of ” blog not found”, so couldn’t hop to them.
I love reading everyone’s comments; we all love such a variety of patterns and colors – it’s amazing the difference color can make in a block pattern!
Love this site
I loved the sewing machine block, would be fun to do.
Then a few blocks with paper piecing, something that would be fun to try. A few sites did not have the contest on their blog yet, so will check back later. Having fun seeing all of the blogs.

I have learned my fabric budget needs to be increased. There are so many cool projects on all the blogs I’m in heaven.
It’s just amazing to see how much inspiration there is out there. I’m constantly amazed at how many times I can see the same pattern, with maybe a small “tweak” to it, that makes it totally different – then, my next thought is “why didn’t I think of that?”!
I absolutely love the sewing maching block by Jina Barney! Thanks for the blog hop!
Discovered some gorgeous blocks -and fun setting ideas!!

Today like all the other days I have discovered many wonderful designers and added many blogs to my reader. I look forward to revisiting the sites and exploring new ideas and techniques. Thanks for this festive opportunity.
I have discovered that if I don’t win a 100 blocks, I will be buying one. It’s been fun to have a preview of the blocks by the designers on their blogs. We all have different tastes in designs and it’s fun to see those by the designer. I could read all day. lol
I learned Tricia Cribbs has designed a lot more than just the Turning Twenty pattern, which is a great basic quilt for beginners! I had not visited her site, never thought to check her out beyond the purchase of Turning Twenty. I’m glad you included her in the 100 Blocks!
Wow! There is soooo much more out there than the fabric department at Walmart! I discovered that I need a LOT more money so I can get these amazing fabrics! Then I’ll need LOTS of time to play with my fabrics! I really, really like Riley Blake!

[RE: the link worked for me on multiple computers and there are plenty of comments over there--perhaps you could type the address into your browser?]
What did I learn? I was really enamored with Sue Daley’s block which was constructed using English paper piecing. She went on to say that it’s not just about hexagons, any shape is game! I love that quilting is evolving in so many wonderful, creative ways! And really, how the heck she made that block using the English paper piecing method is mind boggling!

First I wanted to say thank you to all who helped pull this blog tour, the magazine, and all the coordination in getting all the blocks created and into this wonderful magazine. After spending five days wandering through all of these blogs I can honestly say that I have found SO many more wondeful quilt designers than I was already following each week. HOW will I ever get any quilting done now that I’ve found even more to read? LOL There is SO much talent to be found in reading the blogs of all the designers and it’s so wondeful at how giving each of them are. They are there for anyone reading their blogs or websites to answer questions or comments no matter how small or large the question. I love that each will take the time to answer a complete stranger if you have a question to ask.
And lastly too but certainly not least, thank you to all the sponsors for all the goodies they have generously given as prizes for all of use blog wanderers. That’s wondeful of each of you to give away such great prizes as well.
