Quiltmaker’s Quilting & Embroidery is back with a Spring 2010 issue. It should be showing up in shops and on newsstands now.
It’s filled with 10 inspiring quilts, from simple placemats to elegant cutwork embroidery. You’ll find quilts for spring and quilts for kids. Finish your quilts with wonderful embroidered labels and enter “The Finishing Touch Embroidered Label Contest” for a chance to win Janome’s DigitizerJR software.
Plus, we’re introducing kits for three of these projects as well.
The Summer Flutter Kit, with delightful Flora & Fauna fabric designed by Patty Young for Michael Miller Fabrics, makes a throw that works well with or without the machine embroidery.
The Festival of Roses Starter Kit includes the OESD embroidery software for the roses and bright batiks in similar colors for the backgrounds.
The Around the World Kit has beautiful batiks from Robert Kaufman plus the OESD embroidery software for all the little people.
Take a sneak peek at the Quilting & Embroidery issue and let me know which projects you want to make!

yay!! i’m so happy that it’s back!
Festival of Roses is absolutely stunning! I love the bright colors and the roses are just beautiful.
I love the Sugar and Spice baby quilt, Well, I love them all, but that one is my favorite, wonder if that is because my friend just had a little girl….
I LOVE the Floral & Fauna line. Hmmm……did you say kits? LOL
Sounds like a delightful magazine issue. Can’t wait to check it out.

When are we going to be able to get a subscription to the magazine?
I agree with Sunegal. I have sent in numerous requests to have this a subscription. I “think” I have everyone.
I do have a question or 2, it seems that in 2009 there was only 1 issue, is that correct?? In 2008 there were 2 issues that year???? With this 2010 issue, does that mean we will be seeing it on a more regular basis????
Re: Theresa and Sunegal: I’m thrilled that you like Quilting & Embroidery enough that you want to subscribe. Subscriptions are not currently in the plans for that title. Quiltmaker published two in 2008, one in 2009 and we are just starting to work on the second one for later this year.
