Create a scrappy village with funky odd-shaped houses. Inspired by the free piecing methods of Tanya Ricucci at lazygalquilting.blogspot.com

Skill Level: Easy

Tanya's tutorials are the best. We recommend free piecing basics and housing projects to help you get started.

Wonky Town was made as a farewell gift for QM Editor-in-Chief Brenda Groelz.

It will be my most challenging quilt to date, if for know other reason than it really makes you use your own being instead of just following directions. Hope I'm up to the tast. What a treat just to look at it.
What a cute quilt!
This is a darling quilt. I made one several years back which was designed by Lisa Boyer in Kauai, Hawaii. OUr quild in Hawaii used a number of her funky looking patterns. Mine depicted Hawaiian style houses (huts) and was such fun to make. I hope to make this one also as soon as my magazine comes in...I just renewed my sub. again. I have loads of quilt mags, and keep saying I am not going to buy any more...but you know how that is..every issue has a pattern I "must have"!!! carolann
I Love this Quilt!
This was my going-away quilt, made by my friends at Quiltmaker and CK Media before I changed jobs. I love the wonky houses, each containing a bit of lime green, my favorite color. This quilt hangs in my office today and each time I look at it, it makes me smile!
