Button Tree Ornaments |

Complete directions and other ornaments for the Button Tree are included in the November/December 02 (#88) issue of Quiltmaker magazine. To keep your creative juices flowing, here are some other ornament options. You will need 30 ornaments all together, so mix and match or make extra and trade them out!
If you prefer, a PDF file of this page is available for downloading.
If the previously mentioned issue of Quiltmaker magazine is no longer available in your local quilt shop, call 800-477-6089 to order a back issue. (Outside the U.S. call 303-604-1464.)

Making the Ornaments
Using see-through template material, trace each shape and cut out to make templates. For each ornament, fuse 2 scraps together, right sides out.
Trace the template on the fused scraps and then cut out the ornament.
Loop a 4-6" piece of cording and tack or glue the ends in place at the top of each ornament
