Have You Made A Quiltmaker Quilt?

We love to see quilts made from our patterns! Send us your photo and we’ll consider it for publication in Sew to Speak or Readers Spotlight. Please send clear, focused photos with adequate lighting. Include a photo of the entire quilt and a close-up of any interesting details. Please note: these photos cannot be returned.

Attach a sticky note to the back of each photo giving your name, address, phone and email.

Please include the name of the pattern, the size of the quilt, a short note about why you made the quilt, any awards received and any other details our readers might enjoy.

Send photos and letters to Quiltmaker, 741 Corporate Circle, Suite A, Golden, CO 80401.

For helpful guidelines, please see Photo Tips for Your Quilts.

Requirements for Digital Photographs

In order to be considered for publication, digital photos must be taken at the correct resolution. Printouts from an inkjet printer cannot be reproduced in the magazine. Please send your files as detailed below or have photographs made from your digital images and send them to us.

The file size must be at least 600 kb and the image size must meet or exceed the following:
16˝ x 20˝ at 72 dpi (1152 x 1440 pixels)
8˝ x 11˝ at 180 dpi (1600 x 2000 pixels)
4˝ x 5˝ at 300 dpi (1200 x 500 pixels)
(This is three different ways of saying the same thing.)

Camera settings vary; please follow these guidelines and consult the owner’s manual for your camera. Newer digital cameras (3.2 MP and higher) can be set at medium resolution. Older digital cameras (2.1 MP) must be set at high resolution.

Mail CDs to the address above; email files to sewtospeak@quiltmaker.com.

100 Blocks Issue
I think it would be fantastic to ask the readers to submit their favorite 100 blocks and take the most interesting or most popular to make an issue.
great ball of fire
I need to know how big this quilt is. Here's the story: I give the mag to our local library for a gift thinking i would be to read it. Someone else decided that they would like to have it for their own so now I have a pattern but no info. Is there a nice person out there that can help. Thanks Jo
No. 129 pattern
Batik Scramble: this pattern would make a good one for an "I spy" quilt my grandson wants to make. It seems his favorite activity is 'sew with Grammy'. What a compliment.
Here is a Solution.
Room to hot, light increases heat, hard time seeing where I am sewing. A white sheet of paper under the acrylic sewing table but above bottom of sewing machine. See great, no need for another light.
Great Site
Love the Site. Tried to leave a quilting tip but don't see it. Maybe I just haven't looked far enough!
