Practice partial seams with this scrappy star block full of color and motion!

Instructions to make the 7.5" Mai-Tais in Paradise blocks can be found in Bonnie Hunter's Addicted to Scraps column in the September/October ’12 issue of Quiltmaker.

Make 13 block Y's and 12 block Z's and sew together into 5 rows, alternating blocks as shown. Sew the rows together and add a
1.5" border and a 3" border to make a fun 46.5" x 46.5" throw quilt (as shown).
