Color My World |

Coloring blocks in EQ7, using the color tools, is easy and fun. With just a few clicks you can recolor blocks quickly.
To color a block you have drawn on the block worktable, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click the color tab at the bottom of your work table. Color the block patches to emphasize the center octagon and squares as shown here in blue.

Step 2: Color the squares and triangles that are shown here in green.

Step 3: Color the corner squares.

Step 4: Click Add to Sketchbook to save this first coloring.
If you would like to recolor this block like the blocks in Color My World you can use the Spraycan tool.
Step 5: Click the Spraycan tool.

Step 6: Click a color in your palette. Click on any color in the block. The Spraycan changes all of one color to another color. Use the Spraycan to change the colors in your block, leaving the corner squares the same color.
Step 7: When you are done coloring each block, click Add to Sketchbook to save it.
Now you are ready to set your blocks into a quilt. When you set your blocks into the quilt, you can choose between the color variations by right clicking the block in the palette and choosing Select Coloring.
