Monkey designs
I got the instructions for this quilt in the Magazine, Quilting and Embroidery 2008. I have made this quilt 3 times. I did not have any trouble with the monkeys puckering. The instructions in the magazine must be read carefully, but they do work. I believe you can purchase back issues of the magazine through this website.

Did anyone have trouble with puckering of monkey embroidery designs, even using several layers of stabilizers?

I was able to contact the designer. She says she will make the pattern available for purchase at oregonpatchworks.com within the next week.
